  • Part one of two: Chimpanzees playing at the Wiener Tierschutzverein, Vienna, Austria. Matthew and Rosie enjoy playing a variety of games with different human friends. Grooming is an essential part of establishing and maintaining friendships. Matthew has achieved world wide attention for being at the centre of the first legal case calling for personhood to be extended to non-human great apes.

I like monkey grooming videos, but I have one question: If the confidence is so high with the animal, why the...the...the....... the jail?

Depending how they feel at that minute of that hour on that particular day ? They might be okay ? Or rip you face off while you think your playing paddy cake with one of them.

If im an animal like a chimo i will prefer to be cage, it's like living in a hotel but you can't go outside. No freedom but there's food and Im safe.

@@Frostburn101 Funny response. Not sure if you're trolling me But if not. What good is a hotel if i can't go out and have freedom? im sorry but i rather take my chances out in the Congo. i can search for my own food and create a safe zone. and also. History has proven anything that's been taken out of their true habitat will die from things they normally wouldn't decease of. Like cancer, depression, stress ect.

@@immortalmusic5648there’s a lot higher chance they WOULD die of those same very things in the wild.. so many of their kind is dead n going extinct so the lack of protection from full troupes can make one or two chimps start becoming paranoid/alone and hell same way if we thought we were alone in a hostile environment.. why wouldn’t we go nuts or get depressed if we were in an environment with far more predators around you than any kinfolk/family
