THIN ICE !! Our machine is only making very thin ice. I clean the machine - twice and replace the filter. And reset the panel. I checked the hose line for any kinks. The unit is about 11 years old. … But it continues to make THIN ICE… Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
There are three selectable ice thicknesses. Ice thinkness can be set during manual diagnostic check execution (step 10); details are on Diagnostics page in the 'For service technicians use only' document ususally stuck on the right behind the base grill; MAX ICE LED: 2 Blinks = Thin, 4 Blinks = Normal, 6 Blinks = Thick; Press Clean button to cycle between settings.
I need a service manual for kitchenaid kuic15phzs0 same unit.. just picked it up for $25.. previous owner stated it leaked water.. should be an easy fix.. havent had time to hook it up and investigate.. anyone know where i can download the service manual pdf?
