They’re beautiful aren’t they? A bit pricey, but they certainly use premium materials. Heck, you can throw a Victorinox in one of these slips. Anything looks classy in a Clip Slip, Lol.
The natural one looks great with the knife you had it made for. Can't go wrong with natural leather. Love that smell also. The pull up with the color change was very different. Had never seen that before and worked very well with the lion steel you chose for it. Very nice choices. Very good product.
Thanks, Ryan! I only carry 2 brands, and you know what the other one is, lol. Well, I occasionally carry a hitch & timber, but not as often anymore. It’s pretty much RG2 or DP for me. 🤙🤙🍻
Very cool knife slips, they fit the Ck 01s perfectly! I can see you like that CK/Lion Steel modern Barlow pattern! I can relate as I have a couple myself :) Thanks for sharing!
Hey JJ! I do, I love the CK01 series knives. They’re gorgeous. And I still love them despite the massive M390 controversy. For EDC they perform like a dream, even if the steel is a little soft.
@@GearedTowardGear1 Interesting, I'm not up on the latest steel news. For me the m390 on my CK 01s is quite a bit tougher to hone/sharpen than typical 1095/O1 used in many traditional knives. Once honed, they sure are "scary sharp" little buggers! :)
They sure are. Mine are MORE than adequate for my EDC use. Apparently the hardness on the LionSteel M390 is way way softer than it’s supposed to be, making it not much of a “super steel”. But as you eluded to and also my experience is that for my needs, it works just perfect! 👌
Mines on the way along with a danger I can't wait, I went with that new coffee color for the medium slip with blue stitching and he did the danger in a beautiful brown. That's a really cool paring BTW with those lion steels.
Hey thanks so much for watching! That new coffee color looks amazing!! I think that may be the next one I get! I’m so glad you got one and ha e no doubts that you will love it!! Any brown color w/ blue stitching looks so good! Cheers 🍻
You should consider placing the knife in with the slipjoint down. That way you are better protecting the joint from collecting dust and debris from the surrounding. BTW I’ve reached out to Daniel as I simply have got to get a couple of his slips.
Hi, do you have a prefered way of slipping in your Lionsteels in the sheath? Tip up or down, blade front or back? Best way to hold it without having to fumble it out everytime you want to use it...
Very nice! Leather always feel and smell so nice
It does. I can’t help myself, I have to smell it, lol. Cheers!

Those are awesome Sean thanks for sharing I got to try to talk to wife into letting me get a couple
Thanks for watching, Joseph!!!
As if I didn't already want one of those Lionsteel knives bad enough. Now I want one even more knowing there's a great carry option available.
Hey Karl, thanks for watching. They’re beautiful knives for sure.

All 3 are gorgeous. After the knife has been in for awhile and the leather has softened, does the knife slide out easily. Can you do it with one hand
Yes, absolutely. I can reach into my pocket, grab the knife and pull it from the slip. The slip stays put in the pocket. A really ingenious design.
