"I think there's a few reasons that we don't talk about ovaries. I think that women's bodies have always somehow been taboo in society. I think that medicine is heavily led by men and politics, and all of that is very male dominant. I think we're really trying to change that. I mean, four women a day are diagnosed with ovarian cancer. And these are our mothers, our daughters, our sisters, our best friends, our cousins, our aunties.So it's really personal for all of us. That's why it's really important to rally behind early detection tests and more awareness."
