@@batpuffer STOP! It does matter! Compare dimensions of the round hole in the battery compartment (the metal bike frame) to the replacement switch. Some are larger than others. Also, the overall height varies in replacement switches.
We have the eTrike. Battery is locked on the bike. The key is in the cylinder. The key just spins completely around and won't come out. Can't remove the key. Can't remove the battery. I described this to them and they want a video. >:[
Youll probably have to drill.out locking peg if they cant assist. Center punch peg thandrill.out with high speed metal bits...start SMALL and work up to correct size of pin
@@tjsgarage9650 Thank you for the quick reply. We figured it would have to be drilled out. I hope they can send us a replacement lock or battery. The frustrating this is it's *just* over a year old and not used all that much. In the first 2 months, the ball bearings in the front wheel fell out of the axle. We took it to a shop to get fixed. Since it was already fixed, we couldn't send Lectric the video of that in order for them to cover the repair bill. Lesson to y'all. Don't do *anything* to your bike unless you make a video and send it to them first. Then good luck.
Would you happen to have a video on how to drill it out the battery is stuck on the bike and the keys are lost i Would greatly appreciate it thank you
I havent actually had to do it.. battery was already OUT when keys were lost.

Can't a lock smith just pick the lock ?
Cheaper and easier to drill out and replace
NO!
