Thank you so much. I had an XP 2 with just 8 miles on it when I lost both keys. Took it to a good locksmith who could not help. It's been sat in my garage doing nothing for two years. Ordered an ignition switch two days ago for 12 bucks on Amazon. Half an hour drilling out the lock bolt and swapping the leas from the old switch to new and the bike was as good as new. My XP is the long range so a new battery costs 500 bucks. Thanks again for your video.
@lonniejones4553 i would use a carbide type metal bit....start small and work your way up to the size of the locking pin...probably take 4 or more steps...lubrivate bit as you work
I just received the ebike 3.0 xp. I put the key in the ignition. It turns but can not be removed. The key won't come back out and the battery can be removed. any suggestions?
I lost my keys and I can't get the battery out can you walk me through how to get the battery out from the key lock bar. You said something about drilling it out how would I do that
@colbyyoung1117 the key releases a locking peg that goes through the frame underneath the battery. Its a silever metal peg .start drilling using a metal drill bit...start small and work your way up to actual size..use a a QUALITY set of metal cutting bits.
I don’t know how to message you, but can I please have the link you got your lock cylinder from? I just wrecked my car totaled it . But I have my Lectric Lite and I’m in the same Situation No Keys!!

Youll probably have to drill.out locking peg if they cant assist. Center punch peg thandrill.out with high speed metal bits...start SMALL and work up to correct size of pin
@@tjsgarage9650 Thank you for the quick reply. We figured it would have to be drilled out. I hope they can send us a replacement lock or battery. The frustrating this is it's *just* over a year old and not used all that much. In the first 2 months, the ball bearings in the front wheel fell out of the axle. We took it to a shop to get fixed. Since it was already fixed, we couldn't send Lectric the video of that in order for them to cover the repair bill. Lesson to y'all. Don't do *anything* to your bike unless you make a video and send it to them first. Then good luck.
@@tjsgarage9650 Ill be dead serious, right after I left this message I went down stairs and was messing with it. I actually got it to unlock FINALLY! after like 2 weeks of trying. Now im actually working on my other bike where I spilled all the hydraulic brake fluid all over the ground ..... :(
