I love how real and uncut your videos are, how you incorporate your dad's messages and the burps, love it. No other youtuber does that. I love the look of your pilea. I was thinking maybe I should knock mine over so that it would start growing like yours but that would probably not work and just kill it 😅 Also your dog is the cutest thing I have ever seen in my life. I love him. He always follows you around

I have been following you for almost 2 years now, but i never really have had something to put in the comment section. Now i do... here it comes!... Isn't it fun that a girl in Utah in the US, is guilty of making me, a girl in Denmark, in Scandinavia, roam around in all the second hand stores i can find, looking for glass sausers for my plants? Thanks for the inspiration!

I love your plant tours not just for your plants, but for your unique planters! They add so much character to your collection and there's something fun to see everywhere. I'm slowly starting to add more plants to no drainage pots because of your influence - my alocasias and syngoniums are loving it! Also the euphorbia in your bathroom just needs more light, throw it under your strongest grow light and it will thrive :)

Hi Harli aka DIY queen! Have you considered making your own planter for the dancing bones cactus from cement? It's heavy and you could form it in a way that it has a thicccc bottom (for weight but also because the plant doesn't need as much water). Would love to see a video on the process too! Lots of love to you and all your gorgeous plants ❤

  • @jessicalawrence3074
    @jessicalawrence3074 4 месяца назад +1

Yes; visually showing the signs of needing water is very helpful. Many plantkeepers mention it but just expect me to know what they're talking about and it's much more nerve-wracking to just be told "you'll know when you see it." Also, About the dancing bones pot - I wonder if it makes sense to look for something glazed. I know it's a cactus and its probably nice having the breathable terracotta, but it seems to me like you're probably looking for a pot that's still fairly small, but as heavy as possible. Handmade glazed ceramics at the thrift store are often thicker and heavier because the walls are thick and so is the glaze.

That is just a dream, to many fungal plant sellers. I’m close but damn to risky. They have micrometer plant testing kits for soil. It’s just in case you keep running into fungal plant sellers. Also do you don’t infect your other plants. Also if you have to file a claim, I’ve been ripped off on online purchases but only by plant sellers. Anyplace major Allows you to return the plant.

I'm not much of a fan of sanseveria but you made me want to try a little cute one with your enthusiasm. I have 2 questions. Do you have a stake or anything in your lemon lime philo? I bought a 2 inch pot late fall. Now it's outgrowing a 4 inch pot and I find myself wondering if it will need support at some point. I keep debating if I even have room for a Florida at all but will yours need to be staked at some point? I keep going back and forth. If I decide to get one should I get green or ghost?

It is normal for this species of euphorbia to lose its leaves. In any case, euphorbias are succulents, so they need to be watered very little and they cannot be in humid environments like a bathroom 🤭 Ideally it should be in a drier room, or outside. I have 300 cacti and succulents, and most are outside. I only protect the most delicate ones from winter frosts.

    Hey there Harli,
Your boobie cactus roots are covered in fungi....I'd wash away the fluffy mould and pot it in some succulent mix asap....without any water at all.
Sometimes we think their roots are being watered, when the water is just going past the roots.
I had this problem with my Crassula Morgana succulent.
Its petals were all shrivelled and poorly. (It flowers in winter, with these pretty scented pink flowers. Just beautiful!!!)
You might want to buy one, although it was hard to get.
I changed it into a terracotta pot and when i water it, the pot turns a darker colour, so i know the water has reached the roots.....and the petals are all puffy and like cushions now. I take any excess water out of the saucer and so far so good.
Any further watering your boobie cacti will disappoint you, as it has had enough water for the next 3 weeks and will rot if not rescued. Hope this helps.
Jo.❤😊 CHOOSING the right pots can make or break a plant.

Sensation have very dark thick leaves without as many lines as a more common spath like yours or the wallisii have. Clevelandii is extrmely common. Miss your big beautiful Hoya Chelsea. Loved it so much, it gave me inspiration to buy one myself.

Not sure if anyone commented on what the one plant with the wound is, but it’s a coral cactus. I found it by googling “plant that looks like a broccoli” lmao

I like your happy pops of color and the natural tones of planters! Ok I have the same Sanseveria on your shelf and asked if anyone knew its name. I got one of those off Etsy and it was labeled as a Sansevieria Hybrid / Francissi. LOL I had to dig out my plant journal to remeber what this green kid was called.

What the heck, my Pictus Exotica and my T. Moonlight both started dying after I cut them back. Fingers crossed they pick up when the weather gets warmer. I'm in Niagara Falls NY near Buffalo and we get really cold too.

Loving the vid, your dad 😍. How long did ur burrows tail take to grow? I’ve had the tiniest baby growth on the leaf for MONTHS, doing nothing more! Still alive tho
