Ukraine-UNESCO: 70 years together

70 years ago Ukraine became a member of UNESCO. An organization that, within the framework of the UN, supports international cooperation in the fields of education, science, culture, promotes the elimination of illiteracy and the protection of monuments.
During the period of membership in UNESCO, Ukraine was elected four times to the governing body of the Organization - the Executive Board - and became a signatory to a number of international conventions. And Russia, which destroys Ukrainian historical sites, was expelled from the UNESCO executive board for the first time in history.
