I love that we (we as in the plant parents that started before covid) are really all in a mindspace where we look at the specific plant and not just to check them off our wishlist.
I picked up a crassipetiolata recently because I had wanted a callistophylla, but didn't want the price haha. Honestly, I love it way more and it's growing beautifully around it's trellis! Next to my compacta, the crassipetiolata is my favorite 💕
This place looks like it has such a nice, peaceful vibe. Also, congrats on the baby and finding out the gender! Been a while since I've watched your videos but it looks like you're doing well!! Happy for you!
Gosh the waiting on plants thing is so true, one time I treated myself to an expensive-ish plant, and then a month later I saw it for like $20 and there were even baby plants in the pot 😅
Hey sweets! Thanks for another great video! I have a huge whale fin that had 2 babies but its outside for the summer. I may have to get rid of it come fall because I have a new kitten and snake plants can be toxic.. I recently purchased a blue oil fern and its legit blue.. its cool! Fingers crossed I can keep it alive 😁 you are sooo sweet and I am glad Chris gets to have his choice name 💞
whale fins are suuuper fun, i love how quirky they can get! and thanks weve had the name since we like met bc chris is so passionate about this name. its also gender neutral so girl or boy, we have the name :)
I enjoy watching my plants grow. If I can get a baby plant I will. I however have time and no responsibilities so it's ok for me. Ty for sharing ur time n another great video.
Yay, another plant shop tour! I think the patience advice is gonna be a huge take away for me from this video. I tend to get so excited about a plant and don't realize I could have it bugger for cheaper if I just wait.
My granddaughter is having a gender reveal party on the 2nd of August. I'm so excited. She is due Jan. 26th. She is in a wheel chair so they are really watching her. This will be my 2nd great grand child. I'm so excited.
I just purchased a ficus shivereana for $25! It was a much larger single plant and it's absolutely beautiful. I found it at my local fredmeyer grocery store.
uhhhhhhhghghghghg i want to do this but i honestly refuse to get such a small version of it for that price. id buy a small one if it was like 5-10. i think if i wait i can get a much taller one for maybe 30-50

Yeah it feels like all of us who started then are one kinda collective mindset rn of, no i dont need the name brand, i need THIS specific plant
I love Franz!! I haven't been there in a bit but now after watching this I gotta go! Looks like they have a lot more plants in!

You picked a really nice hoya crassipetoliata 😊 I have the splash version that i can recomend, cuz It's the most beautiful hoya of them all 😁❤️
oh i loooove the splash one!! and thanks i tried to pick the nicest one :))
It's crazy how different buying a plant feels after you go no-buy for a while/shift your mindset about plants. 🥰
right? im trying to make sure every plant is special and not just satisfying my need to purchase a thing i wont care for later
💛 I literally just watched the winter tour of this place yesterday. What a difference in the plants! Also so exciting to choose a name!!
Do you mean my coffee plant will never give me coffee?😅
yeah omg it gets COLD here so its nice to see the plants not totally damaged

So exciting to hear you know what your having now! It took my husband and I probably 8 months to decide on a name for my son.
luckily our favorite name is super gender neutral so whether its a girl or a boy we have the name :)

Hey Ashley love the plant you chose 🪴 and I think you’re having a Boy 🎉
I like marbled variegation on thais and albos bc they dont turn brown like sectoral variegation does. But i do think it's pretty.
yeah its so much more solid and reliable!
here's a comment: Love you Ashley!
