Shout out to the guy going "it's just one of those days" 😄
lol that’s our LD, he joins us for crew soundcheck jams sometimes
I think I posted a couple in my shorts, but I’ll do a full wide frame video of it soon enough!
You and Matt Horn inspires me to my POV Content as I'm also a drumtech here in Philippines. :)
Nice, I am going to subscribe and watch your videos now too!
@@klaasschippers3751 Thanks man 🙏
Very cool! Thank you!!
Bello/magnifico.💪💪💪💪💪💪💨
🤘🏼🙏🏼
what I wouldn't give to be behind that set.
like bro, your drum playing looks cool! the snare sounds so iconic and the rest sounds great. Can we get the Crew jam Drum cam please?
PS: i can hear the soundcheck in the background on Matt Horn's videos while Matt was waiting casually.
Nicely done. I’ve been a touring and session drummer for 30 year’s. It’s important for younger or novice drummers to understand the preferred process (order of operations), that a good FOH and MON engineer make good drums sound great…but the Drum Tech is the often unsung hero (sorry for those slippery sticks Anthony 🙏 🥁😅)They don’t come out the box like this! Nice EQ/Comp/Verb ❤
I appreciate that! 🙏🏼🤘🏼
bro when that snare hit......holy fuck!!
🤘🏼 gotta smack it like you mean it lol
Like a cannon
Love the shows! I was at you uncasville Mohegan sun amazing job man
Oh sick! Hope you enjoyed!
Awesome as always my friend!
🤘🏼🙏🏼 thanks!
The bass on this kit is crazy. Who's is it? I'd love to see an up close tour of it.
Disturbed, I have a few videos of the kit but modern drummer did a full rundown you could check out as well.
@@DavidNesterDrums Thanks, brother. I'm guessing your videos are more detailed with better shots; the drum channels haven't quite nailed the drum tours just yet, but they're getting there.
@@Pure_KodiakWILD_Power maybe I should do my own channel focused on better drum kit tours….
@@DavidNesterDrums if you dont, I will 😂 But you're already out there in that world .... if you have extra time... 🤷♂️ 🤷🏽♂️
@@Pure_KodiakWILD_Power definitely considering this after hearing it from multiple people.
It's amazing how many of these garage rock drummers are on You Tube. Equally amazing is the fact that they all sound virtually the same.
Yeah? Garage rock is a new one for me. Can you elaborate?
@@DavidNesterDrums Certainly. In the suburban neighborhood where I live, when I walk I go past closed garages where as many as 4 bands are practicing. All rock. And pretty much the same sounds and same tunes. In other words they are practicing. And apparently trying to get the same sound - loud, noisy drums loaded with fills.
@@darz3829 that’s wild lol
@@DavidNesterDrums great job on doing disturbed soundtrack
@@ryanhutchinson9657 thanks!
Hey man, how do you like that porter and davies throne?
I’m becoming a fan, definitely adds to the overall stage feeling compared to subs behind the riser. And since we all use in ear monitors it makes it feel more live with the sub in the seat!
@@DavidNesterDrums JH Audio in ears?
@@blackdrumz used them for about 5 years and I didn’t get a new set once mine needed fixed for the 3rd time lol. In these videos I’m using the Shure SE535s which are universals but have 3 drivers and sound pretty decent! My band and I just signed on with 64 Audio for new IEMs, hoping to have those before we play shows this spring/summer!
@@DavidNesterDrums Right on, What band do you drum for?
@@blackdrumz my band is called ENMY (enemy), you can find us on here or any streaming platforms! @enmymusic
🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Way cool!...
🤘🏼🤘🏼
How come you dampen the snare reso head ?
Just a small moongel to help control tone a bit
@@DavidNesterDrumsthe greatest drum tech 🤘🙏
@@DavidNesterDrums I’m guessing it’s the same as the toms? Noticed you have a small gel on the reso as well
@@cDisturbed. I dunno about all that but that you!
@@cDisturbed. yes just a small one, another trick for controlling tone. On my personal kit and in some studios, I’ve seen people use cotton balls inside the Tom’s for the same purpose!
Cool video and demonstration man! Nice snare tune! Keep 'em coming🤘
🫡 on it!
Waiste of vid. Time
Love the hate! Thanks for watching and for the comment! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
