  • Digital Underground rapper Money B spoke about distancing himself from 2Pac after the late rapper joined Death Row. After explaining that he didn't work on Me Against the World, Money B said that he feels like the project was 2Pac's most complete album.
During the conversation, Money B addressed the drama surrounding 2Pac in his everyday life, which Money B said he feels the late rapper spoke into existence in his songs. He then added that while working on "Wussup Wit The Luv," a Digital Underground song featuring 2Pac, the late rapper spoke about death and dying, which Money B's cousin Clee warned him about.
Check out the full clip above to hear more of what Money B had to say.

The body of work that Tupac left is the stuff of legends. At 21 he was nobody, and by 25 he left the body of work that is still leaking out. Think of the albums, the movies, the interviews, the TV shows, and the poetry, AND think of all the girls, the cases, the imprisonment, and all these other things that take up you time. Yet really look at the body of work. Absolutely legendary.

21 years old he was known. He stared n Juice at 19, and he was rapping on his own at 21. 22 years old he was in Poetic Justice and so on.

Take it a step further. If you are rapping along to the song then you are speaking into your life as well. I love Pac, but I don’t really listen to it (that type of music) anymore. I don’t want to speak that into my life.
We had a whole generation of people who didn’t know shit about the hood, drugs or their homies getting murdered rapping and singing along to someone else’s trauma. Bruh, I grew up in the suburbs. What business did I have speaking that shit over myself? And that’s the secret. They push that music on us and we speak it into our lives. Now look and see people who live in the burbs trying to gang bang. Like wtf are you doing? That ain’t your life.
      RIP Pac.

That was K-Dog (Kastro), Big Malkie (EDI Mean), Mutah (Napoleon) & Young Hollywood (Kadafi). Then Fatal joined. Fatal was part of Fatal-N-Felony with Kadafi. Thug Life was Pac, Syke, Mopreme, Macadoshis & Rated R. But Syke & Mo were also part of Outlawz. Then Storm joined. Young Noble came in at the end.
