@@MainelyMoviesI just got back from the 10am showing. I think I might like your review more than the movie, ha. I agree with you that Jodie Comer was one of the best aspects. The almost nonexistent plot and shallow supporting characters made it somewhat disappointing.
@krchilcoat1 Yeah, I definitely wish it had a slightly less conventional story to it. I liked the vibe and atmosphere, but I'm definitely more of a plot and characters kind of person.

Hi Alyssa fantastic review,I really loved this movie,I wish they kept narrating from kathys type if view,I really enjoyed that,especially the start of the movie.
It's funny how you mentioned the comically thick accents,I wanted to ask you about this,I recently saw furiosa road,which is fantastic by the way,love to know if you've seen it,an what you thought about it,anyway Chris's Hemsworth had a crazy accent in this movie,an I looked on RUclips an he said he used his grandfathers accent,and in the bikriders,Tom Hardy had a really weird accent,is this a new thing actors are doing i.e. Using accents from years ago,I know actors did accents,but I always thought they used the accents from today,just wondering if you can shed some light on this,an Cathys accent sounds from the goodfellas,or laverern n sherlly,if I'm remembering correct.

Both are definitely variant of Midwest accents. Jodie's is more obviously Chicagoan, so you're closer to Laverne and Shirley since that was supposed to be set in Milwaukee.

@@MainelyMovies Yeah, sure! You got the ponytail. Add a leather jacket and some chains maybe. You could go with the perpetually hanging cigarette, but I think a constant gum-chewer would be the better look.

Titled as 2023 and indicated it was a 2023 movie, but then say it comes out in June 2024. Think you need to update your 2023 references 😊
I do not. The film premiered at the Telluride Film Festival in August of 2023. It did not get a wide theatrical release in the US until 2024, however film release dates are always based on their premieres. Feel free to look at IMDB, Letterboxd, Wikipedia, or any other source to see that The Bikeriders is officially a 2023 film, as stated in the video.
