how do you connect and seal the connection between with the ducts in the wall if there is not access panel?
Thank you for the video. My installers installed the hybrid baffle filters backwards (spring side to the back rather than the front) so they no longer come out. I'm showing them this video and having them somehow take the filters back out (without scratching the hell out of the venthood) and reinstall them.
How is he connecting the duct with such a tight fit? Seems like a pivotal part to just pass over...
I had the same question. Does anyone know? The installer takes great care to tape up the gaps where the pipe meets the hood, but how does he tape up the gaps where the upper portion of the pipe feeds into the exhaust vent? There does not appear to be any way to do this, given that the hood is enclosed.
It’s incredible annoying that they don’t show it or at least speak to it
I’m stuck at this pivotal step right now… it’s one of the most crucial steps for the install. This video is useless.
