This is my all time favorite Voctave song. It literally blows me away every time I listen to it. I can't wait to see more videos of you reacting to Voctave, these have been great! Oh! And I've seen them once in concert and they are INCREDIBLE!!! I know it's May now but I saw them at Christmas time and hearing Kate sing "I wander as I wonder" and EJ sing "I come all the faithful" I cried. ❤️
I love your facial expressions as you listen to Voctave. You are mimicking most of our faces during the same parts the first time we listened to these songs! I hope you will continue to react to Voctive's videos. I hope you can go see them in person. They truly are amazing. My husband and I went to see them in Pennsylvania right before Covid hit. What a fun night it was. I loved seeing them in person. It gives you a chance to know them a little! Some of my favorites are: Disney Love Medley, Disney Princess Medley, Someone Like You, Disney Show Stoppers, You Will Be Found (is amazing!) Where are you Christmas will make you cry and all of their Christmas songs are awesome. :) You have a lot to chose from! :D
A LONG time ago, as a voice major in college, my senior recital included the big 3( German, French, Italian), English, Hebrew and Yiddish. I remember going to see my grandmother to tape record her pronunciations on the Hebrew and Yiddish. Thanks for making me think about that...it's been a minute since the late 80s!
your curiosity of how low the bass singers speaking voice is, will be answered when you view the Disney 90s TV medley. once again, you are showing your knowledge of music by giving attribution to performers who have sung these songs or acted in the film. loving it so far. much respect and kudos my friend.
awww! I am so glad you enjoyed this one. My 10 yo son loves to watch Voctave reactions with me. He loved your reaction to Prince of Egypt Medley. His request is that you watch the Disney 90s TV Medley and You Will Be Found (there are actual music videos for these).
I love that you're giving VOCTAVE some reactions. I'm an acapella junky and while I dearly love the modern groups like PTX Home Free and Voiceplay, Voctave is the only group that is more classically styled so they are out there on their own. BTW, I dont really think its fair that they have Kate. I'm convinced she is not of this world. She's either an alien or an angel sent from God.
If you want to go on another ride with one of the less common lead vocalists from Voctave, listen to “I Know Where I’ve Been.” No video for that one either but whew.
As a musician, fan of harmony and fan of the music from the Prince of Egypt (which I think you tick all boxes), I'd hiiiiighly recommend you take a look and react to Sam Robson's acapella masterpiece arrangement of Deliver Us. Nothing I can write here really does it justice, you just need to see it! It may not get you megatons of clicks but holy moly it's worth it.
Another great Voctave reaction. Are you familiar with Post Modern Jukebox? Their cover of Aerosmith’s “Dream On” featuring Morgan James is a must see. Thank you.
Ok that vocalization moment you referenced at 3:41 that Voctave didn't include - I know exactly what you meant! Check out Sam Robson's arrangement of "Deliver Us." He does that section PERFECTLY! ruclips.net/video/urfZMIMsYNI/видео.html&ab_channel=SamRobson

Love your reaction! This song I think is their best as far as showing off all their vocal talents and the range this group has.
