Leicester Square stabbing: 11-year-old girl and 34-year-old woman rushed to hospital

- Matthew Wright and Fraser Knight react after a double stabbing took place in Leicester Square. Security guard Abdullah also describes his role in diffusing the knife-attack at the scene.
A man has been arrested after an 11-year-old girl and 34-year-old woman were stabbed.
Police say there is no suggestion it was terror related - neither of the victims have life changing injuries
The 11-year-old girl will require hospital treatment but her injuries are not life threatening.
The second victim suffered more minor injuries.
A man has been arrested and is in custody.
The Metropolitan Police said they do not believe there are any outstanding suspects.
Officers remain at the scene, which is in one of the busiest tourist areas in the capital.

I know some people may not believe me but this girl is my best friend. And her mother was my teacher from kindy. It is horrible how they were just walking and she got stabbed. Only the kid got stabbed.

My cousin living in Nottingham got her house set on fire with her 2 children while sleeping at 3am. Unfortunately they lost their lifes. The mother less then 30 years old the girls 5 years old and 1 year old.
