It's officially demo day at our first house! I have been waiting for this day for a long time. We've worked so hard to get moved into our first house, and now we finally get the chance to make it ours!
Today we are working on a bit of kitchen demo and fixing up the kitchen/dining room wall we didn't really like.

We do plan to redo the kitchen, bathroom and laundry room so yeah that pretty much covers the whole house lol. We also have to redo the roof, the siding and I'm updating the backyard at some point too 😅😂😂

My wife and I are SOOO bad at fixing things. She is better than me, but that's not saying a lot. Given the nerve damage in my hands, I won't use any power tools.
When we were looking for our current home, we had a rule that it had to be move-in ready. This doesn't mean perfect because we didn't want a home that someone else had done a lot of work on. We didn't want to pay for that.
We just got a house that had problems that we could live with.
I'm glad you and Trevor are having a good time with the project and that they are working out. You're adding a lot of value to your home and I look forward to seeing the big reveals.
