So did I! When she was doing shapes, I thought to myself, "What a good tutorial that must be, Imma look it up.", but it was actually her, and I'm so happy and amazed for her. 🖤

@@CarnageFenix for starters before going into digital art you should learn how to draw traditionally but if you already know how to great! so now seeing as you said you only have a phone(which I am going to assume doesnt have a stylus) all I can say is to just do it, find a drawing app(my recommendations are either ibis paint or medibang) and just draw with your finger and I know it may be hard and I know since I used to only draw with my finger (until I was gifted a phone that has a stylus) but as long as you kinda treat your finger as a pen of sorts you should be able to draw some bomb ass art

As an artist myself, this is actually insanely good for a beginner! I feel like if you keep going at the same rate you'll be able to reach your end goal by the end of this journey, so please keep going
as someone whos been drawing for ~8 years now i still struggle with a lot of the things you're learning and i think that how fast you picked up basic shape and perspective is very impressive. its important to be easy on your self in these baby steps because it can be very easy to be defeatist about it. this is a very cute adventure so far, and your art is already very cool!
I've been art blocked for almost 4 years now (traumatic event), and I wanted to do exactly the same kind of stream program someday to be accountable like you are doing. I may have drifted away from drawing now (because I have not healed completely yet) but I'll be there in your streams to support you and those that need it !!!
I’m in the exact same situation. I’ve also been art blocked for 4 years ! I used to draw so much as a kid and pre-teen. I had deviantart and other drawing apps. But then I suddenly stopped drawing and I’m not sure why. I loved drawing so much. I think I started being too busy with school. I really want to be able to draw again. My skills are still in me, even after years of not drawing !
us artists are very excited for this ms dish!!! hopes that we can walk thru this art journey with you, many things will be encountered on the way...... including....... art block.....
I'm a self taught artist myself( been drawing since I was a child but started to take it SERIOUSLY 3 years ago) and I gotta say I admire people who go out and really study shapes, color theory, lightning and all that because I don't do it as I'm pretty lazy. I draw one full on big piece every once a week and just watch ton of speedpaints but somehow I still improve little by little because even if you haven't drawn for weeks you still improve unconsciously because of all the new information you gathered from the internet. I think its pretty neat (My pfp is my OC btw)
As an artist who has been drawing for almost 10 years now, do keep one thing in mind that in most instances, your taste develops faster than your skills. You don't feel satisfied and end up comparing your self to others and there's nothing wrong with that. So you should give yourself some time and strive to improve. Even friendly competitions with your friends help a lot. So try to take baby steps But apart from that you picked up the basics pretty quickly. Hope you have a great time and I am excited to see your journey
As an self taught artist myself i am so happy that u didn't straight jump into portrait drawing, basic shapes are like building block of any art, it was really good art for someone new 🤗🤗
Honestly I can tell dish has natural talent for art, I’m so excited to see your progress ms dish I’m sure you’ll blow yourself away with a beautiful self portrait at the end! :)
it'll be tough but it's doable! i'm starting to take my art more seriously after years of pausing, starting over, and other things coming up. i'm self-taught so it can definitely be difficult at times and feel like you're getting nowhere but just trust the process! just create and keep trying over and over again. it's a journey. do your best, enjoy the process, be nice to yourself and you'll go far, and even surprise yourself along the way :)
Default brushes I would recommend you use on procreate are the HB pencil: for a traditional pencil look Monoline: for when you’re doing an animated art look (for the chibi art) and the colouring Round brush: for the colour blocking! Good luck with this challenge and ur art journey, BUT most of all don’t forget to have fun!
looking forward to these series omg !! this kind of makes me wanna practice drawing too along with the episodes, i haven't had the motivation to regularly draw by myself, but this could be it 🤔
It's easy to get discouraged seeing all the amazing art you see on social media or anywhere, but it's okay because they worked hard too. Everyone has their own pace! As a self thought, I learnt a lot from other artists. You've been my comfort streamer for a while , and I hope you achieve your goals! All the best dish
Dish, honestly the amount of progress u have made in only a week is impressive. I believe you can do this and truly learn since you're already doing amazing! I love the pink flower artwork
i always tell people to learn to draw, i’ve drawn all my life and it’s so cool to see my progress. all of my drawings are like visual diary of my life and i cant wait to make it my career
When you said it’s hard learning something new, i immediacy resonated with that. When I was around 13, I always wanted to be a RUclipsr, but with my crappy laptop, I didn’t know where it’s start. I’ve always been intrigued on the behind the scenes look of things, and never actually started until April 13, 2022. I started looking up things that I have never done before, and it was so much fun, yet it was hard. I wouldn’t been able to start having as much fun as regular in my life without the inspiration of people like you.
I'm excited to learn this with you Dish!! let's go one year series!! I'd like to come back to this vid even after months, so I'm gonna do my best to check every once in a while. Marked: April 26 2022.
Hey, ngl this made me cry bc I do digital art and I never EVER push myself bc it's uncomfortable and hits my ego so badly. With this series, and you being so realistic sbout the struggle with art, maybe I'll be able to push myself. Maybe. Either way, this really means a lot to me. Thank you Dish!!!! 💕
do it. i am looking at these kind of vids for inspiration to finally start making music after procrastinating for 20 years. seeing people take the leap gives me more courage to try. also look at some david goggins stuff. he put himself through some crazy uncomfortable mind stuff.
As an artist I definitely understand how you feel with what to do and practice when it comes to art. It’s definitely not easy and you’ll doubt yourself a lot too- but I feel inspiration watching you attempt something I’ve been doing for 5 years now. Definitely keep up the work 💕
It is very daunting to start learning and putting it into practice, as an artist you never stop learning. RUclips can be such a helpful resource to start of. I really am looking forward to see your progress
this is really relatable and actually inspiring. ive always wanted to draw but every time i see a blank page and my attempt at a drawing its so discouraging, but its great to see someone else learning too!
As someone who's decided to improve my art this year, this video helps me to be more motivated and confident. Thank you Dish (I will definitely watch more of this series, I can't wait for more!) 😊
as someone who’s a self taught artist i’m super excited for this series!! :D Another good resource for anatomy r the Morpho anatomy books by Lauricella Michael :] they explain a lot of anatomy concepts in very simple way and break down stuff to the basic shapes very nicely. Obv there’s other resources online but i found these to be very helpful ;0 good luck! :]
so happy to see this! im an art tutor at uni, and we get students to draw a self portrait once a week, giving them a prompt like "draw yourself in blind contour, as a superhero, playing with scale etc". we also got them to draw a still life without any instructions for the first week, so that at the end of the course they do another still life and see how it compares to the first one. its really fun to see and i can't wait to see your improvement! my number one tip is draw from life when you can! self portrait in the mirror, what's on your desk, plants, outside etc. it's one of the best ways to learn
im so happy for you dish! congrats on the courage to start this journey. one of my most important advices for you is that copying others works (as long as you credit the artist) is very important to the learning curve and has helped me imensely
All I could say this entire time was “hell yeah!!“ Dish, we’re proud of you for getting out of your comfort zone! Learning to create something with your own two hands and be proud of it in the process is difficult but fun. Even if the end product isn’t something you’re happy with, the process is equally as rewarding. Congrats!!
I've been making art for a long time now, but I mostly draw patterns and other abstract things. I've always been very interested in learning how to actually draw but every time I pick up my pencil and try I find myself giving up because I'm frustrated with how it looks. Watching the progress you've made over a week to be able draw a self portrait feels inspiring in a way I dont think ive ever felt before. after I watched this for the first time I feel like I might actually be able to draw if I try hard enough. Thank you for that.
it’s so fun to watch you progress so quickly in this video alone! you picked a good starting point with learning shapes. once you get more into anatomy, i highly recommend researching gesture drawing! while breaking the figure into shapes can help with structure, it can sometimes lead to a stiff pose. gesture drawing helps to keep you loose and focus on the energy of the pose so that you’re not sucked into the tiny details immediately! it also serves as a good warm up before long drawing sessions. i look forward to seeing you grow over the next year!
I'm in a similar position as you when it comes to drawing and now I'm thinking about following along with your weekly goals and seeing where that gets me. Excited to see more, and thanks for sharing your journey
huge respect for your decision to film your process! as someone who is very critical of myself, allowing myself to make mistakes was always so difficult. that and practicing... if i can't master it in a week i'm quick to abandon it. this video inspired me to get back to the things i "gave up" on, so thank you and i wish you the best of luck!
This really made me inspired for some reason, so maybe i'll start my journey of going back to art after huge artblock ~ I really miss the times when it was just practising for fun and i had no huge expectations so seeing other people start for the first time reminds me of that times тт Im happy for you and wish you luck! tbh to not give it up you just need to make sure you are having fun and remember that making mistakes is part of learning
I'm really excited for this series! btw i love your content dish, you are very enjoyable and entertaining. i think you are a very kind person. i hope you enjoy this and learn something new!
i relate so much to a lot of what you said in the beginning about wanting to learn/practice drawing but giving up multiple times before :’)) and also the part about learning in private!! it’s so inspirational to watch you commit to this and hopefully this series will get me off my butt and i commit to learning as well!!
man, this video was recommended to me right after I bought my first drawing tablet, and I also had the same issues as you, dealing with motivation and stuff, and now watching you learning how to draw digitally and learning from scratch just like me, it just gives me a boost. Good luck to us Dish! ❤❤
This motivates me to start drawing again, PLUS HOW IS SHE LEARNING SO QUICKLY AND EASILY. You did so good I hope I can finally stop being burnt out and have some fun again, thanks for the motivation
As an artist who has drawn all his life there are times like these where I realize that some people are starting of now and I can’t describe the feeling of joy watching you learn, I wish you the absolute best of luck on this journey and so far it’s been so fun (:
I’m really proud of you dish! I love you and you have inspired me to not give up on my art goals. I was assigned ap art for next year but I’ve been doubting my decisions. You really changed that thank you!
As an artist this is super interesting to watch because like, the way you learn to make art now is different from how I did, since I basically just made art throughout highschool and just grew up with it. I love that you're so passionate about getting into art!! And I hope you'll be able to see this through and get to where you want to be with it so you can make all the art you want :D and ofcourse you probably have a lot of artist viewers like me who will be more than happy to help you and give you advice! Also i wanted to scream when I saw you going from shapes and stuff to A HUMAN BODY, like girl it took me years to stop drawing animals and start drawing humans, they are /so hard to draw/, gg for even attempting it hahaha Btw the flower drawing is super pretty holy shit you definitely have a great eye for composition and colour :00000000
Trust me, seeing how much I improved motivated me a lot but there's a lot of time I doubted myself and took a break (2 years to be exact) which I regretted so much. Seeing a lot of people improve so much in that time span made me feel really disappointed in myself so, that's where I tried to draw again but in my own pace. Seeing you improve more in the future is gonna be worth it! GOOD LUCK!
drawing is something i've loved doing my whole life. it's just that for the past year or two, it's been stagnant and i feel like i've hit a point where i feel like i've lost the ability to draw and everything i do isn't good. lately i've been trying to get back into it, starting from drawing every day (currently at day 3 and hopefully it keeps up). seeing this really inspires me to keep drawing. treating my work a bit kindly is a whole can of worms, but hopefully i can regain the drive because art is really something special to me
Honestly, I've always felt so unmotivated to keep drawing because I keep thinking that I can't be like those pros who can draw amazing stuff. But after watching this video and seeing your progress in just one week of practicing, and the way you are motivated to learn, made me feel so motivated to do the same. Good job, ms Dish!! Looking forward to see your progress after a year
I gave up on drawing because I felt they were bad and watching this now has gotten me to regain the confidence to go back to drawing. I hope to learn with you on this journey!
Finally I can feel motivated in practicing more, my life is rather hard recently cause of no motivation so I'm looking forward for this series XD Also can't wait to see your Genshin fanart
thank you so much for this, i can't even put into words how much you've inspired me. you're like the first youtuber ever to put the 'vulnerability' as you say it of learning something difficult on screen, especially art, so that other people can learn from it and be inspired!!!! it's great to see how someone else is learning it and i've also wanted to do art for quite a while, but i just either get too insecure and give up or just don't know what to do. i swear i'm gonna stick with u on this journey
im going through a similar thing myself, and it always feels so discouraging to start now bc as an adult i see ppl so much younger than me with so much more talent and it makes me feel like im too late to start drawing. thank u dish so much for sharing this, hopefully this will inspire me to finally teach myself to draw
I have always wanted to learn more about cake and cupcake decorating. I enjoy baking a lot but things usually look a bit rough so I want to try and learn ways to decorate using frosting or chocolate. ❤️
As a self-taught artist, it always makes me happy to see others getting into art! I'm very excited for you. If you ever need help, a lot of us artists are open to helping where we can! Go for it. Just remember not to overdo it or bite off more than you can chew.
Im really so excited to join you on this journey, I hope that this series will show me and teach me to keep working on my goals like learning graphic designs or teaching myself languages. Thank u dish for taking us with u on this journey
I was really good at drawing and I was so close on nailing the anatomy. But depression is a bitch and came to my life even if she ain't welcome 🥲Then when I was feeling a bit better, I tried drawing again and I was shocked that I wasn't able to draw properly anymore, its like I lost my 9 years of drawing skills and its pretty depressing but it is what it is🥲Tho that's why imma join you on this dish 😌I'm going to practice again while watching your drawing journey :3 We're gonna learn how to draw again betch😌💅
I think I can't help you enough for having the courage to "expose" yourself this way. It's wonderful how you finally took the step you wanted to take. I'm looking forward to know how you feel and anything you discover about art (and yourself) on this journey. Your video actually helped me to dare take an important step I also wanna make. Thank you, once again.
As a highschool student who is self taught with no chances to take lessons, I can relate and as much as it was tough, I believe it was worth going through this first year of highschool, continuing to teach myself art, and it is fun to be part of the art kids of the school even though I am not officially in the art section, so what I'm trying to say is that even though it will be very difficult and it will feel like a video game with normal boss and final boss obstacles which need to be overcome, it will definitely be worth it in the end since it will definitely make you grow as a person even if you don't become a professional, so good luck on this journey!
I've been wanting to learn how to draw for so long because I want to create a graphic novel for a story I've written but the process of learning has always been overwhelming and I've always felt like I just can't do it and would give up easily. I would occasionally try again and again but I wasn't satisfied with the result and always looked down on myself for it. Watching this and hearing how we shared similar experiences really motivated me to pick up the pencil once again and put more effort and learn step by step rather than jumping to the end. Thank you dish, I know how hard it must have been to expose yourself this way but you really inspired me and many others to cross that line of "I can't" to "I can if I work for it!" I wish you the best on your journey! We'll be with you all the way! :)
Had a drawing tablet collecting dust for a long time. Been in the same situation; wanted to learn, but always ran into obstacles. Thank you for doing this. It's the motivation I needed to try again.
This is exciting! I’ve been on and off with art for my whole life, this year I’ve had the motivation I haven’t felt in years to just paint and draw again and so I have been. I’m so excited for this series Dish! 💕
remember there's no rules in art, only guidelines. Only compare your art to your old art not anyone else's. Hope you enjoy this journey. Art is a wonderful thing ❤
this video is so wholesome, honestly. for me, it feels great to watch someone try and attempt something they've never done before, and making accomplishments and mistakes along the way. you can do it dish! you're making a wonderful start, and we all believe you can achieve your goal!! :>
ive been drawing as long as i remember and the most important thing is to keep drawing; even if the first five, ten, one hundred things you make look bad, you shouldn't give up. just draw, draw everyday, draw on paper, draw at any point you can. challenge yourself and fail until it looks ok and then do it again until it looks good. it's rough making art that doesn't look like what you want it to but that's really the best thing you can do. youve got this!! only the fact that you decided to pick it up is a biiig step, so stay determined :)
This is so so inspiring. I've been stuck in a rut for way too long now, and as someone who's been wanting more out of myself, i'm in awe watching this vid--this may have just been the nudge i'm waiting for to actually get things started! Thank you dish for this!
ahh i’ve been wanting to learn how to seriously draw for almost a year now and while i’ve seem progress, its not want i wanted. seeing this has given me so much motivation that i’ll get at the level i want one day :) you got a new follower on your art journey
drawing is something i've always wanted to learn but never had the mental force to actually do it. you are motivating me, i think i will join you in this journey. thank you very much!
your progress is crazy! the way your going at learning is very good, im a self taught artist but i still struggle with alot of things, for example anatomy and colours, but art is still so much fun for me so i hope you enjoy yout art journey!
I swear dish is so talented. I learnt to draw for 4 years when I was younger, gave up around 5 years ago because it started to feel controlling. I still draw but it’s absolutely trash. By 1 week your results are better than my results from learning art for 4 years 💀. I’m excited to see your progress in a year :)
I also started drawing like 1 1/2 Weak ago for the 4th time (always lost the Motivation after a couple of days) and I hope I can finally stay so motivatet like you and finally learn how to draw, because that's one of my biggest lifegoals I would say.
I think most of the important thing you need to learn as an artist is how to observe what you want to draw, and I think you have the hang of it really well already! It's really inspiring to see you learn and I cant' wait to see how far you're able to reach!
The way you picked up on shading, perspective, and basic anatomy is insanely impressive! I've tried learning art before but also gave up bc i couldnt fully understand or pick up on the techniques that I had to learn, but your video makes me wanna try again :-)
I’ve had the same problem with art and other hobbies that I wanna learn. I’ve been drawing ever since I was little but at one point I ended up just giving up and stopped feeling motivated to get back to drawing and I always say I’m gonna try to get back to it but I never do. I want to get back to drawing just like you Dish so this has inspired me to never give up and keep trying. I’m going to be following along with you and see how much we’ve improved :)
I've been practicing art for a good while now too (1-2 years?) and I have had multiple roadblocks or times where I just feel stagnate and can't improve, so I just quit. But I get back to it after some time, though it felt like I had to start from the beginning again, relearning the fudamentals and get back some muscle memory, then I feel like I'm not good enough for this and stop drawing again. The point I'm trying to make here is don't do what I did, if you feel like giving up just keep doing, make it an obligation to yourself and keep trying, also practice when ever you can even if you don't feel like it just draw the first thing that comes to mind. I've got back to it a few months ago and I still struggle a lot with finding motivation but see you start this journey has helped me somewhat.
This is honestly so motivating because I’ve always liked drawing but I find it hard getting motivated and dish doing this type of project is amazing and rlly inspiring. Thank u dish!!
i've been wanting to draw for the longest time, traditional art. i just always rush into it and it obviously never comes out how i want it. it comes out like a kindergartener drew it and it upsets me. now this is making me want to try again and take my time. thank you so much :< ♡

us artists are very excited for this ms dish!!! hopes that we can walk thru this art journey with you, many things will be encountered on the way...... including....... art block.....
I think its pretty neat
(My pfp is my OC btw)
I wish you the best in this journey Dish! Been learning art for 4 years now and it's one of the best things I've done
So try to take baby steps
But apart from that you picked up the basics pretty quickly.
Default brushes I would recommend you use on procreate are the
HB pencil: for a traditional pencil look
Monoline: for when you’re doing an animated art look (for the chibi art) and the colouring
Round brush: for the colour blocking!
I love the pink flower artwork
ive been drawing for basically as long as i can remember, and for someone just starting out, you're actually amazing wtf???
omg this is going to be fun to watch! i love drawing but unfortunately ill be in school when this premieres. i cant wait tho! ^^
i always tell people to learn to draw, i’ve drawn all my life and it’s so cool to see my progress. all of my drawings are like visual diary of my life and i cant wait to make it my career
do it. i am looking at these kind of vids for inspiration to finally start making music after procrastinating for 20 years. seeing people take the leap gives me more courage to try. also look at some david goggins stuff. he put himself through some crazy uncomfortable mind stuff.
very anticipated for this series! It’s inspired and motivated me to draw more too it’s going to be a great experience
4:27 “everything cna be broken doqwn in to shapes” HELP IM DYING
Woah, this is a really inspiring series, thank you for doing this!
this is really relatable and actually inspiring. ive always wanted to draw but every time i see a blank page and my attempt at a drawing its so discouraging, but its great to see someone else learning too!
this was extremely inspiring and fun to watch.. thanks dish for giving me something to look forward to every week
As someone who's decided to improve my art this year, this video helps me to be more motivated and confident. Thank you Dish (I will definitely watch more of this series, I can't wait for more!) 😊
as someone who’s a self taught artist i’m super excited for this series!! :D
Another good resource for anatomy r the Morpho anatomy books by Lauricella Michael :] they explain a lot of anatomy concepts in very simple way and break down stuff to the basic shapes very nicely.
This is honestly very intriguing, glad I can be here to watch your journey :)
You got this!
im so happy for you dish! congrats on the courage to start this journey. one of my most important advices for you is that copying others works (as long as you credit the artist) is very important to the learning curve and has helped me imensely
All I could say this entire time was “hell yeah!!“
Dish, we’re proud of you for getting out of your comfort zone! Learning to create something with your own two hands and be proud of it in the process is difficult but fun. Even if the end product isn’t something you’re happy with, the process is equally as rewarding. Congrats!!
You can do this dish! We believe in you
I've been making art for a long time now, but I mostly draw patterns and other abstract things.
Im sure this will be absolutely fun! im very excited to see dish draw ^^
it’s so fun to watch you progress so quickly in this video alone! you picked a good starting point with learning shapes. once you get more into anatomy, i highly recommend researching gesture drawing! while breaking the figure into shapes can help with structure, it can sometimes lead to a stiff pose. gesture drawing helps to keep you loose and focus on the energy of the pose so that you’re not sucked into the tiny details immediately! it also serves as a good warm up before long drawing sessions. i look forward to seeing you grow over the next year!
Im so proud of dish,i sense that one day dish is gonna be a great artist
I'm in a similar position as you when it comes to drawing and now I'm thinking about following along with your weekly goals and seeing where that gets me. Excited to see more, and thanks for sharing your journey
I'm so So looking forward to this. I recently also started to practise drawing again 😇
huge respect for your decision to film your process! as someone who is very critical of myself, allowing myself to make mistakes was always so difficult. that and practicing... if i can't master it in a week i'm quick to abandon it. this video inspired me to get back to the things i "gave up" on, so thank you and i wish you the best of luck!
I have also really wanted to get into drawing but never knew where to start. I will hopefully be going on this journey with you! :)
i relate so much to a lot of what you said in the beginning about wanting to learn/practice drawing but giving up multiple times before :’)) and also the part about learning in private!! it’s so inspirational to watch you commit to this and hopefully this series will get me off my butt and i commit to learning as well!!
also the video essay + buying an ipad recently stuff OML i relate
This episode just gives warm fuzzy feeling. Its tru, be determine to the end result but be flexible to the process i wish u the best dishh
man, this video was recommended to me right after I bought my first drawing tablet, and I also had the same issues as you, dealing with motivation and stuff, and now watching you learning how to draw digitally and learning from scratch just like me, it just gives me a boost. Good luck to us Dish! ❤❤
This motivates me to start drawing again, PLUS HOW IS SHE LEARNING SO QUICKLY AND EASILY. You did so good I hope I can finally stop being burnt out and have some fun again, thanks for the motivation
How is it going now?
As an artist who has drawn all his life there are times like these where I realize that some people are starting of now and I can’t describe the feeling of joy watching you learn, I wish you the absolute best of luck on this journey and so far it’s been so fun (:
yasssss slay i wish you the best of luck in ur art journey! :D
Also i wanted to scream when I saw you going from shapes and stuff to A HUMAN BODY, like girl it took me years to stop drawing animals and start drawing humans, they are /so hard to draw/, gg for even attempting it hahaha
Btw the flower drawing is super pretty holy shit you definitely have a great eye for composition and colour :00000000
GOOD LUCK!
is it normal that I almost started crying? That video was so well made i love it and im sure ur gonna be an great artist :))
Same😭
drawing is something i've loved doing my whole life. it's just that for the past year or two, it's been stagnant and i feel like i've hit a point where i feel like i've lost the ability to draw and everything i do isn't good. lately i've been trying to get back into it, starting from drawing every day (currently at day 3 and hopefully it keeps up). seeing this really inspires me to keep drawing. treating my work a bit kindly is a whole can of worms, but hopefully i can regain the drive because art is really something special to me
I’m an artist and I really think that u did a VERY good job on that piece even though u only started :) ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Looking forward to see your progress after a year
Such improvement and progress for 1 week ,as ellin once said
"Oh so that's how to do it, I'm impressed"
I gave up on drawing because I felt they were bad and watching this now has gotten me to regain the confidence to go back to drawing. I hope to learn with you on this journey!
Finally I can feel motivated in practicing more, my life is rather hard recently cause of no motivation so I'm looking forward for this series XD
Also can't wait to see your Genshin fanart
thank you so much for this, i can't even put into words how much you've inspired me. you're like the first youtuber ever to put the 'vulnerability' as you say it of learning something difficult on screen, especially art, so that other people can learn from it and be inspired!!!! it's great to see how someone else is learning it and i've also wanted to do art for quite a while, but i just either get too insecure and give up or just don't know what to do. i swear i'm gonna stick with u on this journey
im going through a similar thing myself, and it always feels so discouraging to start now bc as an adult i see ppl so much younger than me with so much more talent and it makes me feel like im too late to start drawing. thank u dish so much for sharing this, hopefully this will inspire me to finally teach myself to draw
Miss dish you're doing amazing sweetie, just keep drawing and you'll be the best ❤️
Had a drawing tablet collecting dust for a long time. Been in the same situation; wanted to learn, but always ran into obstacles. Thank you for doing this. It's the motivation I needed to try again.
WHY WHEN I HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL
Same
This is exciting!
