Fun weekend playing around with the new camera in Budapest, still so much to learn with the new settings etc. Looks like it will be a steep learning curve. Hope you enjoy this episode. Much love, Nick💗
You have no idea how much I love you for including the Hungarian folk music! I'm Canadian and 1st Gen-Hungarian and have family back in Budapest! I haven't been in 3 years and your wonderful shots of the city have brought me back!
Just dont visit in late autumn or winter, the weather is much more beautiful in spring and summer, but if you like rainy sloppy winters you are welcome here.
Love the new features! Great slow-mo and night light. It was also lovely to see Barbara again. And yum, I want to go to Budapest now just for all that good food!
The quality is amazing. The low light scenes are nice and clear and really opens up possibilities for different scenes in your vlogs. Great work and good luck with the new camera. Safe travels.
Nice to see you walking the streets that I walked when I lived there. I’d recommend to go back springtime and go up to Normafa eat some “rétes” and get back down with chairlift after you had a coffee in View Cafe. Amazing. I like slo-mo too. Seems like you got a really good camera.
It's one of my favourite city's in the world Budapest, was there this summer Absolutely amazing city Nice camera ✌👍 Loved the slow motions shoot in Market.
LIke the slow mo, the new camera is great, much better in low light. We have seen night colors that we had not seen in your vlogs before. She's a keeper.
Nick, you have been absolutely killing the game recently! Haven't managed to catch every video but each time I do I'm so impressed. Keep smashing it buddy, and best wishes for continued success well into 2018!
Enjoyed the new camera features: audio was good, slow-motion adds a good twist, and the ability to shoot in low light excellent. The night shots of the Christmas market and castle were brilliant. Nice work Nick.
Nick, this is great. I LOVE the filming the new camera captures! I showed this in my class of refugees, too, and they really enjoyed it. We did a bit of comparison/contrast with Bangladesh, and I asked each student what he/she liked the most. I got answers of "the food," "the buildings," "the violin player," and one student really liked the Liberty/Freedom Bridge. Very nicely done! The audio sounded great, too, and the night filming was fantastic. Hello to Barbara, too! Nice to see her in a video again! :) Peace!
Indigo Traveller I really did! It’s on my list to go see Budapest one day. The editing is also really fun in this one! One thing I meant to mention - showing your videos in class is helpful because we can talk a bit about geography and history. Knowledge of these things is scant with many of my students so it’s really helpful to have a fun reason to introduce these things to them. This one allowed me to talk about Eastern Europe and the former USSR. Two of my students had no clue about 20th century history in this region of the world. Thank you, again! 😊
Amazing 😊👍🏻 Brings back good old memories when I was there during the December 2015 (very cold and low visibility due to fog 😊) Was staying at Pal’s Hostel near the St Stephen's Basilica. I’m sure you would have visited Hero square, Citadella and experienced the thermal bath. Much visit house of terror as well.
This vlog is so refreshing and you looked so fresh in this vlog seems like you take a much needed rest from your epic trip in nepal and bangladesh. Take care always
I did recall all the bridges, river boats, the park festival and I tried all kind of traditional bread, and bakery.........music and so on...... The churches and I found big Asian supermarket. I had lunch at the Chinese restaurant. Thanks to my friend who took me around Budapest......
Sweet camera! The slow motion will intensify the beauty, and give us more appreciation for some of your shots. The low lighting works well also. Have a good time in Budapest. seems chill.
Hey Nick, Just wanted to say that I reckon Hummusbar is not longer the best Hummus place in Budapest. As they grew, they started cutting corners and the quality of food and service has deteriorated as they expanded. I've been going to a smaller place called Olive Tree Hummus on Paulay Ede Utca recently and have been very impressed. The guy who runs the places really cares a lot about his food and it shows. They even have good beer. Give it a try next time you are in town. Also, I always recommend that people go on the Budapest Free Walking Tour (google it to find details). They have 3 walks. The main one, communist one and Jewish district one. The main one is great for tourists and the other two are fantastic even for locals. Obviously if you can afford it and the guide is good, you should give a tip, but it's not mandatory. If anyone is in town, I'd also recommend going up to the Citadella for sunrise. On a clear day, the view of the sun rising over Pest is quite spectacular!
Budapest looks so serene. A complete 180 of what you experienced in Bangladesh huh? The video quality is great. The night video mode was especially great.
Funny,i just got home from work after working long shift ,i started doing my dishes and i opened the RUclips and i opened this video without looking who posted this video and it does says ,Budapest and i was thinking,it will be a while that Nick will be posting his videos and i thought ,i have watched most of your videos and now since u will be gone for a month,it seems ,i felt empty and kind of missed you seeing your videos and here you are back already ,i was surprise,i bet most of us have missed Nick and felt like i have felt about you, good to see you back 😍
Thank you mate! Glad you were happy to see my video! Lots of videos to come, a little less over the next few weeks, then I will have tons of new content for you! 💗
Nick - the editing was pretty way-cool. I know that some would prefer less editing but your style is your style and it sets you apart form others. The video and sound from the new equipment is just wonderful. So clear and crisp. You had to be school-boy giddy at how amazing some of the footage was. The evening and night pieces were great as well. Great episode! Thank you for sharing.
Would love to see Barbra with you more on your Trek, Will you be there for Christmas? I have to say your style of how you present your trek is what puts you way out in front of others. There are no skyscrapers in Budapest, but trust me, that city looks amazing! When you go there you will love it.
