Very lovely city & delicious food. Hopefully I can visit Vilnius & Lithuania soon! Hi chef from 🇵🇭
Hello, thank you very much! Hope you will manage to come here soon! All the best and regards to 🇵🇭!
My first visit to Vilnius was 1994. My last was New Year 2019. Always great to see the changes. Thanks.
Hi Iain! Oh i wish i had a chance to see Vilnius in 1994 :) thanks for your message!
How lovely! Lithuania is so underrepresented. What a pleasure it is to have a glimpse of this lovely place. Thank you 😊
I totally agree! Lithuania is such a beautiful and still undiscovered country, so proud to be from there! greeting from here!😊thank you!
Amazing video! Already planning to visit some of these places next week, can't wait! 🤤
Thank you! ☺️Definitely recommend trying that cinnamon bun at ‘Senatoriu Pasažas’🤤
Perfect timing, I'll be in Vilnius in two weeks! Thank you! 😀
Ohh yes!! you can definitely mark those places on your map 👏😊 enjoy your time there, i am sure you will love it 😇
I liked this video so so much. Being from a different culture, it's so fascinating to see how other cultures treat food. It's beautiful to see how Lithuania is so self sufficient and passionate about food.Would love to see more such videos, maybe even from London. Loved the vibrantly coloured dishes, that I'm sure must've been very flavourful too. I so wish I could go there too.
Hi, you should definitely come to Lithuania, there is so much to show, unfortunately in one video is complicated. 😊I am always happy to come back and enjoy delicious and local food 🙏🏻
Thank you for this beautiful video! The production quality is high and your distinctive voice and priorities are showing you and giving a unique signature to the piece. Just a quick note of curiosity - the Jewish memory stones you saw around minute 5 are actually Holocaust memory stones. Every time you see a stone like that near a building, it means a person had lived in that building and was murdered by the Nazis, or if they were lucky, had been arrested and incarcerated but managed to flee. Not all these stones feature Jews, but most do. There are over 75,000 of them in Europe. You can look them up - they are called Stolpersteine.
hi, thats actually very interesting to know, I have heard of it and it actually breaks my hear to hear the end of those people stories. However, what I am happy about is that those memory stones/plates are across the streets and everyone can read and know the story about it. It's nice to keep the memories alive.
Thank you for your comment! Appreciate a lot 😊 wishing you all the best!
Greetings from the Philippines! Next time I try cucumber and honey :)
yes, go for it! :) thank you!☺️
Did you know Vilnius has such an amazing variety of food? Or have you ever visited this capital? Would love to hear from you! ☺️
Haven't yet been, I have a few friends from there though, hopefully I'll visit once the pandemic ends! Lithuanians are really nice! Which parts of Lithuania are your favourite Kristina?
@@pranavhinduja1182 hey! So nice to read your message! Regards to you and please send my regards to your friends!
I am from middle part of Lithuania- Kaunas 🇱🇹❤️
@@KrisKazlauskaite Hi Kristina! Will do, I'll tell them to have a look at your videos! That's cool, I've heard that Kaunas is beautiful, I know a few people there too! Have you a favourite part of the world Kristina? And a favourite part of London?
@@pranavhinduja1182 of the world? Hmm i really like Scotland and a little town called Bled (I cannot include Lithuania because wouldn’t be fair😁) and London - i really love Hyde park🥰
@@KrisKazlauskaite Like a true Lithuanian you love it outdoors! I do too! Maybe I have ancestors from Lithuania haha! You like lakes a lot I take it? I've heard that Lake Bled is quite beautiful, hopefully I'll visit it once the pandemic ends! You definitely need to check out Lake Annecy and Lake Como if you do, England's Lake District ain't bad either, the Italian Lake District is a lot better in my opinion though - Are there any lakes that you'd recommend in Lithuania? - And when it comes to food have you a favourite place in the world Kristina? Hyde Park most certainly is my favourite part of London too! Love your accent by the way Kristina, don't change it, ever, I know a lot of people in London will tell you that you need to talk like them, but honestly I think your accent is a lot more beautiful than a London accent!
Vilnius is such a beautiful & underrated place. Chef, hopefully you could also tour restaurants around Vilnius like Amandus owned by Chef Deivydas Praspaliauskas. Cheers!
Hi, ohh thanks a lot! I would love to do a restaurant tour in Vilnius especially with such talented chef like Deivydas!☺️
@@KrisKazlauskaite thanks Chef. Appreciate your content, such quality content. Looking forward to that tour. Oh I wish I could visit Vilnius someday.
@@kurokuro6236 it’s totally worth visiting Vilnius-the greenest capital in the whole Europe!🌳cannot wait to go there myself 😋
Ok I'm out
Cucumbers in honey :p
Sounds nice.
That is very very traditional in Lithuania, it's a very light and delicious combo 🙂
@@KrisKazlauskaite I must find some and try them then :) love the baked produces and architectures as well.
Backstage Roastery Cafe (the one @ T.Ševčenkos g. 16h, Vilnius) sells the best cinnabons in town, I was on a similar tasting journey myself :D
Definitely saving this place for my next time! 😊 thank you!
Muy delicioso y muy bonito el lugar
Muchas gracias! Estos lugares estan en Vilnius, en mi país- Lituania 🥰
Love the video! I'll be visiting Vilnius next month, can't wait to check out these places. By the way, what camera do you use? The quality is really nice.
Hello, happy to hear you will have a chance to dig in into Vilnius bakeries :) enjoy!

Thank you very much! Truly happy you enjoyed my tour 😊
At the beginning was that cucumber dipped in honey? Is that traditional it appeared to be. Going to have to give it a try
Yes! It is so common in Lithuania! At first might look a bit odd, but it’s really really nice! Yes give it a go!👌🙃
This makes me miss my time in Lithuania..
Ohh, I hope you will manage to visit Lithuania soon, I really recommend visiting those places if you haven't done that yet! Thank you! ☺️
@@KrisKazlauskaite I cannot wait to come and visit again. What a beautiful country! 😊
Is there a website or book with typical recipes you would recommend?
Greetings from Canada 🇨🇦
@@earthlover04 ohh there are so many Lithuanian cuisine books! It’s hard to pick one especially when they are mainly in Lithuanian 😊 I simply suggest to google and you definitely find many recipes in english:) my warmest regards from Lithuania! 😇
Wow. Such fantastic food quality and a beautiful city. It looks like a Bond movie or a postcard. Would love to see a behind the scenes in a restaurant or bakery. In the local language with subtitles would be cool too.
hey! very nice insights! to be honest i would love to do that too! it is a bit harder now when the covid restrictions are still in place but yes, planning to do more travelling and baking videos 🙂 thank you for your comment👏

Loved Vilnius and sampling so many different bakeries on that day was truly a beautiful experience! 🚀 🇱🇹
Carbs diet😀 I think it's not only delicious but educational too, loved it 🤓 thank you!
Hi Beautiful ladies ,I am from India
Hey! Thanks a lot😸
I loved this video so much!! Just wondering how could you manage to eat that much on that day? I'm super surprised. Looks like you had an amazing time, Quick question, are the cinnamon buns that you tried in Lithuania better than those you had eat in the Uk?
That's a very reasonable question actually because when I put this video together I thought to myself that it looks a lot of calories! 😃 The thing is that I we did't finish all pastries, we tried them and then took take away back with us.
Regarding cinnamon buns - I have my favourites in the UK as well but my best sourdough cinnamon bun now is in 'Senatoriu Pasazas' in Vilnius.🥇 ☺️
I lova you 😘😘😘😘❤
😇 🙏🏻
There use too be 80,000 Jews in vilna Lithuania 🇱🇹
Hey! Yes indeed there were a lot, they actually influenced the we Lithuanians eat! Such a rich culture! There are lots of memorials throughout the city too.

Aciu for this brilliant video! It's a really nice advert for Lithuania! Does Lithuania have a lot of vegans these days? And if I may Kristina, what made you turn vegan? Any chance you could do a video about that? It's quite rare to find a vegan pastry chef, your fabulous creations outdo most non vegan desserts though, I really admire that Kristina! You definitely have a lot of talent! I too am vegan, I turned vegan around 3 years ago after I found out that I have a mild lactose intolerance - I turned lacto vegetarian when I was 4 after I found out meat's origins, couldn't eat it (or even eggs for that matter) once I knew! I really miss pastries the most amongst the things that I no longer eat, thankfully I've finally found a way to make them taste as delicious as the non vegan versions ! Took me a while though, did you find it difficult too Kristina? Hope you have a day as fabulous as your incredible creations!
Hello! many thanks, I enjoyed making this video as I don't come back to Lithuania so often so it was like a taking a fresh breath :)) veganism in Lithuania is quite normal, many places offering vegan options or being fundamentally vegan, but it applies bigger cities, so whenever you decide to visit Vilnius feel free as you will find places to eat :)) many thanks for your comment!
@@KrisKazlauskaite Aciu Kristina, I'll definitely do that!
'Linksmu Kaledu' Kristina, any plans for today? I believe today is a day of kindness, and as you're an extremely kind person I thought I ought to thank you! Hope you have an incredible day today!

Greetings beautiful lady, glad to hear from you again. It seems great to me that you will take some time for yourself, you look relaxed and you radiate more energy, which makes you look more beautiful than usual.
