    Good video James, plenty of info for the average viewer or people who have been out of the game for a few years! Slurry is the new silage.
    Hope to see many more videos in the future from an Irishman watching this video from a mine camp in Western Australia!👌🏻

    Just subscribed, informative video and a very professional operation. Would like to see the new tankers when they arrive. Would also like to see the trencher in action if u still have her.

      Thanks, plan to get the tankers up once we have them and settled in with them. Trencher still here though it's used more in the winter / early spring months.

    Why can irish farmers receive a grant to buy Slurry but specialist contractors not get the same grant?

    • @jtownley90
      @jtownley90  8 месяцев назад

      That would be far too logical. It's based on the number of head of livestock you have on your holding. In fairness it's to stop people receiving a grant and then monopolizing on it. Sadly contractors who do most of the work have to fund it themselves unless they also have a large farm then they claim it for their farm but use it for their contracting outfit.

    Excellent work. What other machinery do you work with

      We do stubble to stubble arable (wheat, barley, oats, maize, oil seedrape), grassland, land drainage, so in one day could be spraying, drilling, fertiliser, combining, baling, lifting silage etc.

    Enjoying your content James. As an idea for a video would a comparison of your New Holland versus John Deere tractors work? Pro and cons of each brand? Are the John Deere worth the premium price?

      Yes and no. We've different tractors do different jobs and are spec'd different to allow them to do the jobs more efficiently. Hopefully get a good chat about the main fleet when they are all out during the summer.
