It's half the size of a 4090 and uses a lot less power. A lot of companies like to use multiples gpus in their workstations so it's a lot easier to put two or more of these in a system than it is for multiple 4090's. Plus double the vram is extremely useful in professional 3d applications.
A lot of companies actually are now focusing on the 4090s because their performance per dollar is much higher, and power isn't exactly a big problem for the big companies. This also contributes to why US banned the 4090s shipment to China.
Have you got a chance to test similarly on Lumion Raytracing vs the raster render test here? Very much curious about raytracing still/ animation comparison.
This video makes no sense for average lumion/d5 user. Nobody really cares about time of rendering, care about workflow speed with big and detailed 3d models, there is where the 50gb of the 6000 ada makes a lot of sense and overcame 4090 with big difference
@nzferby-Thanks for the test and the conversation around the forms. My comment is not a diss to your test, so I do not come from a negative space. Is the test comparing the 4090 to A6000 fair, given their power disparity? Would the comparison be more meaningful if both GPUs were tested at the same power consumption level? Since we are unable to increase the power available to A6000, it raises the question of how your test methodology would adapt should the power of the 4090 be restricted to 300 watts. While some may question the necessity of limiting the power consumption of the 4090, from a personal standpoint, there's uncertainty about whether comparing the 4090 to the 6000 is a fair assessment. So, is there a way to do your test with even power consumption, and what would it look like?
Memory & especially TGP ... 450W vs 300W ... 🙂 in the industry that matters a lot ... e.g. the A4000 SFF Ada is as fast as a 3060 Ti (TGP 200W) , but consumes only 70W!
Because the card is not used as a gaming vehicle the buyer -often boring- is obligated to think in terms of longterm usage and stability and maintenance, the measures of a RTX 6000 remains cool and is elegantly fitting w 2slots while monster rtx 4090 takes 4 slots and is ready to burn. Hollywood quick productions would be the clients of rtx 4090.
watch it closely, the screen of 4090 is in less resolution and screen of 6000 Ada , is in high resolution, the difference is because of that...at last i want to say that Quadro GPU will not crash if u design and animate XL Scenes, 4090 is Gaming Card it has limitation....

Yeah, Half the size and 2x price
@@mohammedtalha1 Yup, that's how it works.

don't forget the ecc memory in A series
@@kadirgunel5926 4090 also has ecc

test with Quadro 8000 ADA ???

heey you need to use the ada qith intel xeion that whay its working slower dont forget the ecc with rams cpu gpu
Ada very expensive but perfect as small size and low energy consumption,, 4090 impossible to buy in large quantity because gamers bought all in stock.
😮😮It's the best time to drag Jensen Huang into court devouring our pockets with the name ADA.😮😮
ohh, the RTX 4090 seem BETTER than the 6000 ada
but
the new RTX 5090 XE will change Everythings
So what’s the reason ppl would wanna buy rtx 6000 Ada?
Very small, 48gb ram? 😀

Não entendi porque a ADA promete ser melhor do que as RTX e consequente perdeu… compensa comprar ?
ela vai se sair melhor em aplicaçoes que usem o que ela oferece por exemplo simulaçoes e no solid works.....
the faster memory and memory bandwidth gave the rtx 4090 the edge in speed even though the rtx 4090 is a bit weaker in flop counts vs the rtx 6000 ada
RTX 4080 and 4090 does not support NV link anymore.
And also A6000 Ada
Because they also screw pro market right now

no. they both render at 1920x1080
this CLIP is good
ok so whay ada 6000 is mor expensive
Less power, lasts longer, better accuracy (A series have ecc memory).
