    Any decent midrange hybrid cameras should have all these four features, i.e. IBIS, EVF, mic input and tilt or articulated screen. That leaves the Fuji XS20 and Sony a6700 to be considered, though costing more than $1,000.
    I left out Canon for the reason of limited lense choice as you said. My only other comment is the big mic boom clutters the scene a bit, but all in all a very good advice from you, much appreciated.😊

Glad I bought dual card slot cameras and no matter the price I won't ever buy a camera with a single card slot. Or one that can't do simmultanious recording to both cards

    5:18 There are currently lots of 3rd party autofocus options for Fujifilm especially from Viltrox, Tamron & Sigma (It actually feels like Fujifilm are the ones forgetting to release any lenses recently...

    I’ve got a budget of around 2k Cad to upgrade from my canon t6 (approx 1500 usd). Wanna do more video alongside photo and be more portable.
    I’m really broken if I should go Canon R10 or r8 to save some money (but have a tighter lens selection, no ibis on both, and no LOG on the r10),
    Sony a6700, the most costly but most feature rich with a great lens selection and ibis (but no built in flash for portability)
    Or the middle ground Fuji Xs20 which has log, flash, a wide lens selection, and ibis, at the cost of worse af performance.

    • @learningcameras
      @learningcameras  8 месяцев назад

      I'd skip the Fuji unless it's just for casual fun use. The A6700 is hands down the way to go if video is a big focus or the R10/R8 if you're mostly shooting images with the R8 being a pretty major quality boost

    Which One lens is Best For Fujifilm XS-20 For Video and Pictures Both ??? Can you Suggest Please ???

  • @jackiem4034
    @jackiem4034 8 месяцев назад

    Hi Dan. I would like to ask, when your mentioning the camera models that you recommend... example A6700 is an amazing camera and your showing some sample photos... do you mean that these cameras are great with its kit lens? Or are you saying the camera is great, BUUUTTT you need to put a great lens (which is additional cost), in order to achieve the sample photos that you have shown? Thanks

    • @learningcameras
      @learningcameras  7 месяцев назад +2

      I'm talking about the camera specifically although all kit lenses perform about the same so a kit lens from 1 brand will be similar to a kit lens from another brand with quality. But obviously I'm using good lenses in most of my shoots and lens quality will impact image quality so using a solid lens will go a long way. But hit me up with a lens budget and I'll recommend some choices for the a6700. There are some good options that aren't crazy expensive for Sony

    • @learningcameras
      @learningcameras  7 месяцев назад

      They will be similar but I'd give a small advantage to the A6700. Sony sensors have always performed really well in shadow noise which is usually what ruins low light

    Is the r10 better than the rp? And is any of the two better than the a6400?

    • @learningcameras
      @learningcameras  7 месяцев назад +1

      Tough to compare. The RP uses a full frame sensor which makes it better with dynamic range and low light compared to the others which are smaller APSC sensors. That said, the RP sensor wasn't a particularly good one from Canon so not a massive upgrade and the features on the R10 are actually better. The R10 would probably be my favorite on this list, especially if you shoot video. For photo only, the RP has some advantages and the a6400 is good, it's just a bit older so it doesn't benefit from the latest features

      Awesome! Yeah, if you want to also be able to shoot photos, the a6700 is a great choice or the FX30 which is the identical camera with more video centric hardware if you shoot mostly video. First lenses would be a solid zoom lens like the Tamron 28-75 bhpho.to/3vI52JW but for action sports, you will probably want to add a longer lens too like the Sony 70-200 bhpho.to/3SBJA0Z if you can afford that one. Currently I own a Nikon Z6II which is great for Photography, I like the size but in video side is only can shoot 8 bit without S-Log internal. So right now, Sony is amazing if you can have 1 camera for photo and 1 camera for video. When it comes to hybrid do it all cameras, I don't love the options right now so if you want a single body that does everything, I'd say wait for the Z6III which seems on the horizon or potentially the Fuji but it will be an APSC camera so technically a quality step down. That's my only issue with Fujifilm right now...you have to be willing to get a smaller sensor
