restoration? häähhh .... ? this is cleaning.......
Ok, so what exactly is your definition of restoration? Because this is the definition in the dictionary
"the process of repairing or renovating a building, work of art, vehicle, etc., so as to restore it to its original condition."
So, if all it needed was a clean, polish and touch up of paint ..........
I somehow lost this video ....... Well here I am now !! Loved it !! Williams is a good brand of nut drivers !! Look as good as new.......better 👍👍
Thank you!

Stinky stinky stinky 🤢 glad it wasn't dog poo 😂 great work
Probably would have smelt better if it was!
my friend use fine steel wool for the cleaning up..without polish, then polish them using much less polish. to apply the paint for the markings, use a cheap cotton swab ofteh called Q tips (thats a brand name, use whatever's cheap) I spray the paint on a piece of aluminum foil. you can refresh it any time you need to with just a short squirt of paint. Using the cotton swab is less messy and easier to clean off. using super fine steel wool if need be.
I'll try that next time 😉
they are different colors so you can tell which one you're grabbing out of your tool pouch without actually having to read the size. once you learn which color is what, you don't have to read them any more. If two colors are too similar, put a piece of tape on one. Now, get a flat blade screw driver in a larger size, a straight blade in a smaller size, a number two phillps, a good pair of lineman's pliers, and a pair of side cutters, and you have a fair electrician's tool pouch. You might add other things as needs arise like needle nose pliers, a small hammer (the larger flat blade screw driver is for punching out the slugs or prying things)
I use the yellow (5/16) all the time at work 😎
I have a box of tools that has a screw driver that looks like those were ..Now I know why the box stinks so bad
Definitely ! 🤮🤢🤮
A spray can of automotive clear coat will provide protection including UV. This has been my best option for similar materials. Cheers... Joe
Thanks Joe 😎
I can smell that thumbnail pic
I'm truly glad for you that you can't!
That smell is probably the plastic that those handles are made of. I have a similar set of nut drivers made by Craftsman that came in a small plastic box and everytime I open it I get the smell of vomit. I finally had to get them out of the plastic box and store them in the tool drawer. The handles still have a faint odor to them after a couple of years out in the open air.
Yes, it is the plastic, these nut drivers were in a very advanced state of decomposition 🤢
un fact , it was dead skin and sweat from previous owner
Ewwww
They did smell horrible!
🤢
