One of the most underrated aspects of boxer vs street fighter is that boxers are usually well conditioned athletes, while average humans are usually out of shape. Ring rust is a thing. Inactivity will bite you in boxing. So imagine someone who's training and studying on a daily basis, sparring twice a week, going up against someone who hasn't as much as shadow boxxed in months. Random guy would get destroyed off stamina alone. The shock of the first punch will leave him wobbly. No contest.
True but your assuming during a street fight a random non boxer would square up with a trained boxer. If they were smart they wouldn't. A street fight can go so many different ways than a boxing match.
@@andrewmarshall3519 he was not scared of TI 😂😂 if they really fought TI scrawny ass would got lit up like a Christmas tree Mayweather would leave him convulsing on the concrete
There is no regular person sticking with the stamina of a boxer. They train to go 12 whole rounds. The average person will be tired after 30 seconds. No matter how big you are or hard you can punch you will get tired before the boxer.
Boxers especially those in lighter weight classes are incredibly fast on their feet most ppl are getting pieced up before they could even get close enough to take a boxer to the ground the only way the street fighter has a chance is if there's a massive size difference
As someone who boxes I agree for the most part … in boxing it’s weight classes and shit for a reason . Imagine being 141 and a nigga 225 talking crazy in the streets and can somewhat fight . Even blocking a punch in a street fight hurts , and imagine if he throw a sloppy punch and it connects it’s always the punches “YOU DONT SEE” . Even if that punch don’t connect , and that same guy grab your hair or try to body slam you and shit. It don’t even be worth it frfr . Now if niggas just throwing hands and agree to that then that’s one thing but all that extracurricular shittt…. Ain’t worth it ! I literally just got into some shit the other day with a mf and the first thing he went for was my dreads .
The biggest difference between boxing and street fights is that in boxing you dont see the punches coming because of the speed difference, boxers also use feints, jab (to set up their punches better) and throw shorter punches. Also street fights usually last 20-30 seconds until someone breaks up compared to boxing where each round is 3 minutes.

Ended up getting into Judo a few years later down the line and I also wrestled for two years when I got to high school. Got into MMA after I graduated since I didn’t get recruited to a D1 college (my primary focus at the time was football) but yeah I would say ages 18-27/28 nigga I was with the full fledge bullshit. I consider myself more of a MMA guy these days but Boxing and Judo are my foundation, and speaking from experience most MMA fighters can’t box for shit, and grappling in the streets as well as throwing kicks can be dangerous. So because they are underdeveloped with boxing fundamentals and there are certain risks that can backfire with grappling, they understand street fighting can get them into some shit that they may not make it out of. Plus MMA is expensive asf so many (not all) MMA fighters tend to come from well off homes/families with money whereas Boxing always has been the poor man’s/working man’s art, and some of the most famous boxing gyms are in the slums of cities throughout the world. Mike Tyson was a hood nigga, and so was Rampage Jackson. The Diaz Bros, Melvin Guillard, Jorge Masvidal, Rose Namajunas, Jamal Hill, Kenny Foster, Bobby Green, Cub Swanson, etc are all MMA fighters who grew up street fighting and never turned down no fades from no regular street niggas even after they turned pro. And that’s if his crew doesn’t jump you.
I Know exactly what he means. A lot of fighters are athletes who like to compete. A lot of them can not handle confrontation as well as you would expect from someone who knows how to fight
Shakur is mostly right because in a street fight a regular guy can have a weapon and that can defeat a trained fighter. But a good trained fighter won’t loose to some regular guy if he has no weapon. These street guys might look intimidating and talk tough but once they throw a punch you realize they have nothing
It’s funny he say that but was right there with TakeOff . His boxing discipline and teachings should’ve spoke in this instance . Most folks outside a gym don’t know how to take an L so more than half the time , mfs know what comes after that Loss , not in a gym

A huge part of boxing is discipline. And a lot of boxers come from the gutter and find a way out through boxing. If they're smart they stay out of the gutter instead of going back into the gutter where a dumb ass can get into street fights each and every day until someone decides to shoot yo ass. 💯
A boxer don't wanna risk jail or unnecessary injury during a street fight and also, if a boxer knocks a guy out during a street fight weapons could be drwan on him so its not that they are pussies, they are just smart enough to know it's not worth it

Trained a few months felt a major boost in confidence. A boxing novice will wash a pro street fighter. The regulars will learn the hardway. You got to have solid technique to be able to take down a boxer aka wrestling bjj judo.
Actually you don't have to have "solid technique" If novice boxing is all you know, someone that knows even the basics of BJJ will likely wipe the floor with you easily because you'll be on the ground before you know it or trying to defend from going to the ground instead of punching...

Hes right. An advanced wrestler or grappler can shut down a boxers chance to strike. It also depends on the environment and location. Like where is the fight taking place? A boxers can always his footwork depending on the environment. To keep his distance and range .Its best to learn mma if its street fighting. But never underestimate anyone of any size. And its not that easy to land a knock out punch. Usually your opponent can block it. The knock out punch is usually landed through an engagement . @@tbupnexttruths1355 For you….snach single, blast double the boxing foot work is irrelevant if the grapplers end goal is to get to the ground…It’s easy to bait a striker in the street if he thinks you intend to use your hands. Streets a fight to death or till someone drop. Boxing is under a time limit. I box myself and I know how to handle a street fight, I don’t just punch, kick their kneecaps, I headbut them, hit em with my elbow. You gotta end it quick cuz anyone can have power to put you out especially with no glove.

Man that’s bs I ain’t never seen somebody that box scared to fight in the street unless they know it’s going to be more than a fight.

Facts. Aye you need a sparring partner?
The biggest difference between boxing and street fights is that in boxing you dont see the punches coming because of the speed difference, boxers also use feints, jab (to set up their punches better) and throw shorter punches. Also street fights usually last 20-30 seconds until someone breaks up compared to boxing where each round is 3 minutes.
You can see the punches if you are a boxer wym?

I wasn’t getting pressed, I was going the pressing, so my mother threw me in Boxing so that the kids in the gym would humble me and sure enough that’s exactly what happened but I loved it and stayed with it. I was training and still getting into street fights socking out Bloods, Crips, Eses, smokers, you name it. But see at the end of the day I’m a hood ass nigga, always have been and always will be. Street fights get wild.. theres a possibility of any weapons, grappling, possibly getting jumped.. knowing how to fight helps but its too unpredictable to want to take the risk
When mike Tyson got into a street fight with Mitch green he said he was scared. Mike Tyson literally said “I was scared” cause he hadn’t been in a street fight in years.
If your opponent dont wanna trade blows , they can quickly grab you or guard while shooting. Unless you sucker punch before it even starts.
@@tbupnexttruths1355 For you….snach single, blast double the boxing foot work is irrelevant if the grapplers end goal is to get to the ground…It’s easy to bait a striker in the street if he thinks you intend to use your hands. The boxer literally needs to run away 5 to 10 ten feet & at that point he’d have to know what his opponent wants.
