    The reason most boxers are "pussy" is guns. A fighter knows that they can beat 99% of normal people in a street brawl and the people looking for a fight also know this and odds are theyre not going to waste their time trying to fight knowing they'll het laid out. I have a brother who boxed for about two years when he was 14 and made some bad choices in life and ended up in a lot of fights. He never lost a straight up fight and knocked out a lot of people. Hes 5'10 170 and he dropped dudes much bigger. I can't even imagine how deadly a pro fighter especially a bigger guy would be on the street.

      Very true! Shakur knows what he’s saying tho. Sometimes a thug can beat a trained fighter because he’ll be more experienced in using sucker/punk tactics. But if the boxer is educated in these street tactics and can compose himself, all it really takes is for him to whip a punch with technique and it’s a wrap. That guy won’t even know what hit him.

    One of the most underrated aspects of boxer vs street fighter is that boxers are usually well conditioned athletes, while average humans are usually out of shape. Ring rust is a thing. Inactivity will bite you in boxing. So imagine someone who's training and studying on a daily basis, sparring twice a week, going up against someone who hasn't as much as shadow boxxed in months. Random guy would get destroyed off stamina alone. The shock of the first punch will leave him wobbly. No contest.

Even blocking a punch in a street fight hurts , and imagine if he throw a sloppy punch and it connects it’s always the punches “YOU DONT SEE” . Even if that punch don’t connect , and that same guy grab your hair or try to body slam you and shit. It don’t even be worth it frfr . Now if niggas just throwing hands and agree to that then that’s one thing but all that extracurricular shittt…. Ain’t worth it ! @@davidnorman4612depends. I’m from South Central Los Angeles the gangbanging Mecca and I was a knucklehead growing up always fighting kids at school. I wasn’t getting pressed, I was going the pressing, so my mother threw me in Boxing so that the kids in the gym would humble me and sure enough that’s exactly what happened but I loved it and stayed with it. Ended up getting into Judo a few years later down the line and I also wrestled for two years when I got to high school. Got into MMA after I graduated since I didn’t get recruited to a D1 college (my primary focus at the time was football) but yeah I would say ages 18-27/28 nigga I was with the full fledge bullshit. I was training and still getting into street fights socking out Bloods, Crips, Eses, smokers, you name it. After a while that shit gets old and you start to realize how stupid a lotta shit be and also all of the close calls with death I had because my ego wouldn’t let me walk away from certain shit. But see at the end of the day I’m a hood ass nigga, always have been and always will be. I consider myself more of a MMA guy these days but Boxing and Judo are my foundation, and speaking from experience most MMA fighters can’t box for shit, and grappling in the streets as well as throwing kicks can be dangerous. So because they are underdeveloped with boxing fundamentals and there are certain risks that can backfire with grappling, they understand street fighting can get them into some shit that they may not make it out of. Plus MMA is expensive asf so many (not all) MMA fighters tend to come from well off homes/families with money whereas Boxing always has been the poor man’s/working man’s art, and some of the most famous boxing gyms are in the slums of cities throughout the world. Mike Tyson was a hood nigga, and so was Rampage Jackson. The Diaz Bros, Melvin Guillard, Jorge Masvidal, Rose Namajunas, Jamal Hill, Kenny Foster, Bobby Green, Cub Swanson, etc are all MMA fighters who grew up street fighting and never turned down no fades from no regular street niggas even after they turned pro. But that’s because of the environments of where they came from. My two cents.

    He’s correct but people don’t realize how tiny these fighters are. He weighs 147lbs and is 5’8. The average gym goer I know is 190, 5’11 ish. I’m sure the canelos and up would definitely win, but I got myself vs any man under 150lb. I feel a college wrestler would be harder. I’d EASILY scoop shakur and wouldn’t let go. I honestly don’t think it’d be hard, either. Size for size, I’d def lose. A 205lb boxer at 6’1 would probably be strong enough to keep me standing. A 147lb 5’9 dude? Hell naw

      @@219jayy I don’t think you’ve ever fought. There is no footwork really in a street fight. It’s 100% different. U ever notice how when boxers miss, they grab? Ever see how they circle? I’d almost say boxing makes you a WORSE street fighter. It’s why boxers get schooled in mma but a college wrestler can make it. It’s why #1 boxer Clarissa shields lost to a 300 ranked part time wrestler with a full time job. I’d earth a 147lb man EASY. and I mean EASY. I wouldn’t doubt I could let him up and earth him again for fun

    There is weight classes for a reason if a large man grabs one of them boxers and ground and pound them to the oblivion I know they gotta get there first it’s all about how many punches you take before grabbing them and after that they can’t box you on the ground or if you’re throwing elbows in the clinch

    • @kalives5774
      @kalives5774 Год назад

      If you can box but a guy is superiorly bigger than you. Hopefully you got a gun not to kill em but shoot his ass in the knee make him drop down to your size. Or you need to find something hard to hit with. Like a Shakur Stevenson size vs a deontae wilder size. I don't give AF what you know if he grabs you which he will he goin slam ya back out

    • @ba10mob69
      @ba10mob69 Год назад +1

      Yeah but the thing is that you need some good wrestling backrground or Football background to pull that off because it requires some sort of speed and explosiveness. A big guy thats in shape can pull this off but lets be real the average big guy is slow as hell and will get caught in the process of trying to get the takedown.

    Hes right. An advanced wrestler or grappler can shut down a boxers chance to strike. It also depends on the environment and location. Like where is the fight taking place? A boxers can always his footwork depending on the environment. To keep his distance and range .Its best to learn mma if its street fighting. But never underestimate anyone of any size.
    And its not that easy to land a knock out punch. Usually your opponent can block it. The knock out punch is usually landed through an engagement . If your opponent dont wanna trade blows , they can quickly grab you or guard while shooting. Unless you sucker punch before it even starts.

      @@tbupnexttruths1355 For you….snach single, blast double the boxing foot work is irrelevant if the grapplers end goal is to get to the ground…It’s easy to bait a striker in the street if he thinks you intend to use your hands. If your calling it grabbing odds are your awarness of the amount of takedowns available to an actual grappler are slim. The boxer literally needs to run away 5 to 10 ten feet & at that point he’d have to know what his opponent wants.
