Musik and Pakistan are compulsory to each other... I remember when I was a kid my Sophi muslim grandfather was use to arrange musik festivals in our town and that use to be a big ocasion for us.. even Muslims in seventh century manage to spread Islam in this part only through Musik. Though I only listen western musik but sometimes I come across some master pieces from Pakistan that make me revisit my homeland potential.
When I was growing up, I thought the best musicians in the world were linkin park, later i discovered greenday, nirvana, guns n roses, metallica, Pink floyd, rolling stones... with time my taste flew from one to another. But now that I am all grown up and have a job, my love for rock music has finally led to what I call spiritual ecstasy, i.e, Sufi music. I think every rockoholic, who knows about sufi music will end up liking it. I think there's a stong connection between the two, don't know what, but there sure is.
music has no boundary and it has enormous potential to unite the entire humanity...singers of my brother country pakistan are soul healers...i am so much overwhelmed by this piece of art that i hav no words to express my gratitude...may you all serve the common brotherhood with your transcendent music...may we once again become one country...amen

This drummer is absolutely fabulous and how perfectly and professionally he has synchronized with the taals starting at around 6:00 minutes. He is amazing.

Once I requested them to do a program for us but his manager asked for 6 lakh rupees for 5 hours performance that year i missed them but fortunately I managed them next year and i felt 6 lakh is nothing for wat they did that nite all city talked about them for months after performance. Well Said by Rizwan , Music has no "Mazhab". I am an Indian and listen to Pakistani music than the Indian Bollywood stuff. This thing blows my up altogether. I play for a rock bank and listen to all sorts of western rock music but this stuff beats that all hands down. It require a lot of talent to perform like this. Big Fan of Nusrat Sahib. This is so nostalgic.I wish and pray India and Pakistan live like brothers in arms. We need to make music , love and not war.
