💖💖💖 One can see the dedicated effort you put into this video...plant identification, award placement and accompanying music! Thank you, Chuck! Can't wait to see your future entries! 🥇🏆🥇
Thanks Gwen, glad you like it! I can't wait to be able to join. Problem is that this means I will need to pull some of them out of the ground and place them in pots if I want to keep them in top condition for the show next year haha! Oh well, it will be interesting.
Love watching the video, also the music. Starting to collect special cactus and succulents also to learn more of the names through watching your videos
Thank you sir I just found your channel just now,I'm a straight dude and you almost got me in tears.this is so beautiful. My brother.thank you so. Much
Chuck, you've done a great job of filming everything with no bias. I learned a lot. My fave section was the 'succulents not mentioned elsewhere' - I guess this is what my collection gravitates toward. I really think you should enter some plants!!!
Great video, thanks for sharing and taking the time to shoot it and give all the names, it is better than any book I have, great reference for names…..Tere (in US)
Beautiful three years ago it's like an right now show for me I love watching those lushus cactus, I get more interested in the few that cherishing thank you for the beautiful display, I always go on You Tube and search for cactus I just have a love for them.
Hi chuck. Im only a little bit into this video but I am loving it. This must have taken forever to edit but I really appreciate all the plant IDs. The reason Im commenting before watching the rest is that I am very much enjoying the music. Is Epidemic Sound a band? The song playing around 16:48 made me stop to inquire. :)
Epidemic Sound is a music library. They offer subscription based service, which allows you to use any music that's already pre-approved and won't give you rights issues on RUclips and other platforms. The music at 16:48 is "Green Hills (Instrumental Version)" by Sebastian Forslund. player.epidemicsound.com/search/?search_query=green%20hills
I didn't ask to confirm but from what I understand, novice division is for those entering the competition the first time. While open has no such restrictions.
Good question. It's simply because I am not a member of the society yet. I am thinking of registering though. Haven't registered before because they hold meetings at the other side of the city, and it takes over an hour drive. I think I reached the point where I think it is worth the drive.
Отличный обзор уникальных экземпляров редких сортов и не очень и с названиями , но такая тягомотинская подача при занудной музыке, что приходится перетягивать изображение.

Yeah I was quite surprised that Grapto* and Pachy* did not have their own categories!

There are many alternative services to EpidemicSound like Soundstripe, Artlist, and a few others whose names I can't remember.
@@Cerriscapades Thank you :D
Where in Australia was this held?
Very nice job

What is open division
Brother can we grow cactus and succulent in ceramic pots?
Dear Chuck, I just wonder how to propagate star-shaped cacti?
I mean Astrophytum
category.
Hi Andy, I'm no expert with cacti but I've seen people chop off the top of their astros to force pups to grow along the sides.
@@Cerriscapades Thanks a lot, it'll be great help!
Good 🌹🌷💝🌺💝😊
Veramente particolari
I envy your plant collection
Chuck - what's the difference b/w open division and novice division?
I didn't ask to confirm but from what I understand, novice division is for those entering the competition the first time. While open has no such restrictions.
ah ok. it really seems like 5 folks or so owned all the winning plants. You should join the greats!!
👍👍👍
Can I know why you have not been participating in this show.?
Good question. It's simply because I am not a member of the society yet. I am thinking of registering though.
Haven't registered before because they hold meetings at the other side of the city, and it takes over an hour drive. I think I reached the point where I think it is worth the drive.
