I think that everyone that appreciates this festival owes a great big THANK YOU to the pilots and the owners of these balloons. They take a good deal of time from their lives and a fair amount of money out of their pockets to put this festival on. Those certificates and the cards they give to the kids aren't free and yet they do it anyway. This one is definitely on the bucket list. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
My brother was a balloon pilot. He even wove his own balloon basket. Eventually he got his commercial license and loved taking people above the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains. What a thrill!!
I had no idea there was a hot air balloon museum!! {Adds to bucket list} Last year my youngest boys (7 & 9 then) took their first plane ride. Like any good homeschoolers we did a unit study on aeronautics before our trip, and started with hot air balloons. The New England Air Museum (near Hartford, Connecticut) has a hot air balloon basket from 1870. I canNOT imagine going up in the air in it!! They also have a GoodYear Blimp car from 1942. It's wild to think how quickly aeronautics technology transformed modern life!!
How fun! You showed the Fiesta very well. My best friend and her husband live very near the balloon park so I've been able to go. It was exciting and fascinating and so fun to see all the special shapes. Sometimes we just have brunch on the patio and watch the balloons going over. It really is a treat!
Great video! We happened to be passing through Albuquerque while the Balloon Fiesta was taking place this past October, but it was around noon and we literally saw nothing of the Fiesta. The eclipse the next morning was pretty amazing, though. Thanks for letting us see what we missed.
OMG! I was there. It was a bucket list for me and it’s awesome. I was in the lot behind the museum. I gotta say, your video was better than what I saw. You went everywhere, and I stayed with the RV. I’m passing this to my friends who saw my pictures, yours was better. I got choked up just remembering so much of what you presented.
So cool, my wife and I were at her grandmas house for New Year’s Eve weekend and in the city there which is not very big at all they had a hi there balloon extravaganza, where we could see around 15 to 20 hot air balloons right outside grandmas window out the backyard.
Finally got to watch this vlog! My papa and I were part of the media and also got a ride in princess Nelly, how cool! I absolutely love the balloon fiesta and it was so fun to look back on our trip through this vlog!

I am a student pilot( just started as student in 2020) and am there every year for the last 10 years as crew for my mentors, their balloon is Patience if you have have your book. The box is rare. I know many of the pilots, the bees are from here in Az so I hang out with them often
Yes, so WOW... I went for 51st in Oct 2023. It's really hard to get camper rsv. There's a reason that one you toured doesn't go up [noone is to walk on the fabric]. I was so blessed to get on a crew with perfect weather for most of the week. Pilots are awesome great people, they love their balloons. Thanks so much for your video, go great.

This video was unbelievable! We were at the balloon fest a number of years ago but didn’t even know they had a museum. unfortunately we were only there one day and didn’t see all of the nighttime festivities. happy that Marissa and McKenzie got to fly in a balloon but that was way too high for me. BTW, I thought you guys were taking a break because I have not been notified of your video uploads even though I have the bell on. I have some catching up to do.

This is such an amazing experience. I went in 2019 with FTF and the experience was magical. I even got to crew on a balloon and fly in one. I can’t wait to to go to the balloon fiesta again.

My husband has worked for Wonder Bread (owners have changed) for over 35 years now and it was great to see it there…on my bucket list for sure…I think they do a balloon fest. in Miamisburg, Ohio (? We had an incident close to our house at an Arroyo dam where the hit hard and the passenger got bounced out of the basket broke here leg on some rocks.. took almost 45 minutes for an ambulance to get to them cause of all the locked gates
We've always wanted to make the Balloon Fiesta but can never seem to make it work out. We were able to attend a small local one though 😂 #consolationprize
This is so cool to watch. I would want to lay on the ground in a chair and watch them go up. I don’t want to be on them lol well if it would stay on the ground I wouldn’t mind being on it. It would be mesmerizing to me. We have balloons at night on the river in my town. It is crazy seeing them all. I’m not great in crowds so I watch from afar. That sloth is really cool. I have a sloth night shirt if you would be interested. It’s big but he might like it, it’s never been worn as I ordered the wrong animal. It’s an adult but not huge. Just thought if you were interested we could figure it out if interested. Not sure if you’ve been to Wisconsin on your travels or not. Does your daughter have a spirit animal? So when the balloons are in the air can they come down for fuel? The mighty jets bless your trails. How cool. How cool that looks! We payed for the festival. We lost our truck due to a engine issue for two months. Were unable to attend and we lost our money account of there policy. I have no respect for them.

Lived in New Mexico for 12 years, such a big part of the community. I miss seeing the skyline filled with balloons.

No hookups but all RV can boondock. Just fill your water tank and charge up your batteries. 😀
