Why is it limited to 212 km/h ?
That's what we were wondering about too! We searched for any limiters in the menus, but couldn't find any..
@@TopSpeedCars You need 19 inch rims/ wheels, than the limiter at 210 will be removed
@@TopSpeedCars actually the limiter is applied to all engines at 210-ish, except for the 45tfsi which has it bumped up to 250kmh. If you configure a new a4 you’ll see the option to remove the limiter for around 170€ and it’s selection is correlated to the wheel size (ie. Remove limit for 17”, 18”, etc). If you go with the 45tfsi and any wheel size (well, 18”+), you’ll notice that the option for your specific wheel size is no longer in the list. Also, the soft limiter can not be removed if the car configuration did not have it removed. Or at least that’s what they say in the Configurator now.
without limiter it goes only a little bit faster, around 230 on tacho
