i was at the game today. I used to go get concessions/go to the bathroom during the top of the inning so i didn't miss the mariners at bats. now I do the opposite.

I noticed Ichiro working out before the game. Maybe put him in the lineup as DH.
This sucks. It might be time to think about next season, this offense is showing nothing, and it’s starting to look like if we trade away farm pieces to get a bat it’s going to be a waste. If all players are struggling like this there is something wrong that’s bigger than players figuring it out. You could add Shohei and Trout to this lineup and it’s not gonna be good.
Man it sucks that I had zero hope in Julio there in the bottom of the 9th.
Julio is just brutal right now. Off-balance, late, guessing and swinging away. It’s painfully non-competitive.
I respect your dedication. This offense is truly terrible, not your fault saying the same stuff every video because it's exactly what's happening. Same shit every single game.

Hiya J! Josh Rojas. Well, I've covered the offense. Kirby pitched well, the O's hit 60 bombs in June! As did the pen. Did I see Julio 7th in the order based on the boxscore? Team batting average of .202? That is fugly. Not ugly, fugly, in case anyone thinks it is a typo. MAGIC NUMBER IS 74! I love you, J!!! First time I've smiled since the game ended! Shoot, put me in, coach. I can stink up the joint, too! Oh, if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, then it most likely is the M's offense. Quack kills! I have lost count of your "maybe's." I called for Servais to sit Julio 3 straight games around the end of March, beginning of April. To the 4 guys who shall remain nameless, shall we have a Jarred Kelenic discussion? A guy who is so disappointed in himself he kicks a cooler wants to get better. As opposed to a guy who is going too strike out 200 times this year and makes a bizillion dollars, yet I have to look at his goofy smile every night! Great breakdown of this soul crushing defeat! Thanks to you, I can save my IPA's to celebrate the next M's win. I wonder how long they'll last in my fridge? Love you, J!

Well hey on the bright side if the mariners can keep playing like they have been the bullpen is on pace to not blow a single lead the rest of the season. Sounds like something they will say on root sports one of these days 😂.
I just don't understand why Canzone would even be swinging first pitch when Kimbrel had hit two batters and nearly walked Cal Raleigh (who struck out on what would've been ball 4) to start the inning. You should be waiting to see if that pitcher can even get one over for a strike, not swinging at a first pitch curveball in the dirt. That at bat sums up the struggles of this team so perfectly. Kimbrel was practically handing this team the chance to tie or even win this game, and we still couldn't scratch across a single run.
I don't get how they pinch hit for the only guy who had hit last night and not for Crawford 0 - 3 at the time. Not that it would have mattered but at least it might have signaled that no one is untouchable

Anytime Kimbrel comes in the Os opponent has a chance to win. I sweated out that foul ball. I noticed, cause Hyde is ultra righty lefty guy, your mgr didn’t play the r/l vs Mullins and kept Kirby in. Especially with a L-R-L coming up. Typical Os/Ms game. Great recap buddy.

This reminds me of an old almost live skit. The Hawks started off the season something like 6-3 and everyone was stoked. Then proceeded to loose week after week and each time the sports news guy (pat Cashman) gets more and more frustrated
I can't see them sending Julio down to triple A to work out his issues simply because no matter how he is playing right now he is still putting people in the seats. Ownership wants their numbers.
You watch .... in 3 weeks Mariners will be in 4th place.

i had to stop watching games, they are just an objectively unfun team to watch right now. If the offense can correct course (doesn't seem likely) i'll start watching again.

I have repeated this before, no situational awareness and not making individual adjustments. Griffey, Edgar, Blowers etc of that 1995 team knew how to adjust to their opponents pitching. This team is too locked into a routine that they don't adjust to what is being thrown at them. It's frustrating that other "bad teams" adjust all the time. This team doesn't do that.
4-9 in the last 13, it cant last forever
This offense is absolute garbage. They are unwatchable. Heads need to roll.
I'm skeptical heads will roll. Being mediocre seems to be the goal of this franchise.
Go get Robert, joc pederson and heorner, then hope the core can just hit even 70% of their career average and maybe this won’t be the biggest choke of a season we’ve seen in a while.

Such a waste of a great starting rotation! All we need to do is be mediocre offensively (which I thought going into the year we would be) but man, we have been especially atrocious lately
The Mariners a side from their pitching are a bad baseball team. Julio needs to go back down to triple A ball to figure things out. Not sure what's the problem but you have to go back to the hitting coaches. They will be in second place place by the weekend. Sevais putting on Dylan Moore was totally etrosis when Rojas had the only two hits. Makes no sense right on left left on right yet J.P is always in the line up. Hmmmm
Once again. This is not a postseason ready offense. There is still plenty of time for it to become a postseason ready offense. Meanwhile there is a postseason ready offense 3 games behind them and another offense becoming a postseason ready offense 7 games behind them. If they can do it, Seattle can as well.

The whole Mgmt needs to go, 9 Years of Servias has been too long and Dipoto and his 12-15M scrap heap players every year is ridiculous... finish this year with what we got and keep the Farm intact for the New Incoming GM!!!

I think it's time to dfa some of these guys and bring up the young guys. It's not gonna be worth trading them all away. Locklear, bliss, clase. Send down canzone, let go of polanco and haniger, if you can trade Garver maybe try and bring in diaz from rockies to primary catch and raleigh can dh more. Or, maybe bring up harry ford and let's give it a shot finally. Just a lame duck vibe just watching the games right now.
I see this as further proof that something BIG will happen with the Mariners 48th victory.

Houston will be here after the All-Star break to put a fork in the season.T don't see a way to fix this team even 2 good bats won't do it. just ride this season out promote our studs in the minors next year and drop these overpriced over-the-hill players!!!!! This team already has 900 strikeouts and not even at the All-star break this pitching staff is squandered once again
