The voice of knowledge, the hands, the legs, even the shoes remind me of my father and grandfather, thanks for posting, this was just what I was looking for.
Thank you so much for posting this video, Camron! I just wanted to say Im so sorry for your loss, but your amazing Grandpa is still helping people today. We were able to switch this out in my car with his video. Thank you so much for sharing his knowledge with us! ❤
I just wanted to say thank you so much for showing me how to do this. It took me less than five minutes to get it completed. The dealership won’t charge me $400 to fix it cost me $47. Thank you.
Power seat back would recline and not come forward. An inexpensive switch from Amazon and an easy fix. I found this video to be the most straight forward, no nonsense, and easiest to follow. Thank you for the excellent video Grandpa!
Thank you for posting this video! I found it and realized that my 2015 GMC Terrain is the exact same process, and the video helped me prepare and train.
2013 Chevy Equinox. Grandpa’s instructions worked perfectly to replace the part and fix my seat that was faulty on recycling to the upwards position. Thanks again G-Paw
Had to say Thank You so much 😊 You helped to save my bacon 🥓 today! Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏 ~ Regards, Brian And yes, may your grandad Rest In Peace 🕊
My power tilt on driver seat of my GMC Terrain wasn't working. The fix is to test the switches on the side of the seat. That can be accomplished by prying off the side cover and checking continuity on the switch bar. That bar of switches is very cheap, under $20.00 so it might be the first to replace. The power tilt is in the back of the seat. You have to remove the hard plastic cover on the back of the seat. That will give you access to the motor for the power tilt. If you can find or rig up a 12Volt battery you can connect it to the positive and negative leads on the motor. This way you can test the motor independently of any wiring or switches. In fact you can use this technique to check all the motors (forward/backward/tilt). It turned out in my case it was the switch. The motor tested fine. Search driver side GMC Terrain switch and you can find it for cheap on the web. Hopefully this info helps someone else.
Sorry to hear of GrandPa's passing. I followed the video to the 't". Pretty easy but before I order a new part how do I know that the problem is not with the seat motor that makes the seat move forward and backward even though the other functions work? Anybody care to take a stab at this. Thanks and again RIP GrandPa.
Rest in peace grandpa, I miss you Soo much

Thanks 😮🎉🎉🎉
Is it the switch or the fuse the causes a failure?
It can be either, in our case it was a switch...
