- Here we learn blending colors for cool effects, cleaning and oiling. Coming soon in Part 3, blending different fibers together, creating varigated batts for spinning varigated yarns, and more crazy fun! I am waiting for some blending goodies to arrive off of Ebay, so look for Part 3 sometime next week! (7.9 - 7.13.07)
HOT!! (snicker-snort...those who watched the first one will know what this is in reference too...LMAO)
Awesome! I love how you show everything in fast motion instead of just saying you did something, like they do on cooking shows. You're my new she-ro!
Perfect video for me and my daughter--while watching this she said, "Woooo! I LIKE to DANCE!!!" (While strutting her moves.)
Your videos are always fantastic and educational, and it's always apparent you have a blast doing what you're doing:) Keep up the great work!!
Agh! I can't wait for Part 3 (unless I'm dumb and it's up already)!!! I'm so excited to see the next segment.
Thanks for the making and posting these videos! In Part 1 I especially liked bamboo placemat trick. I'm finding Part 2 incredibly helpful because I bought my Patrick Green drumcarder used and it came without the manual, dofer, or cleaner brush. Now I know how to maintain my carder and take care of it better!
you're my hero
you rock
yah!!!!!!!!!
I love the part about cleaning the carder. I just bought a used carder and it looked like it had never been cleaned.
Great, over the top personality and good info, Thanks. Liked and subed.
Thank you! I don't do many, if any, anymore. My crafting interests have migrated into quilting. There's a video for every part of that hobby!!

Since you are quilting, would you be keen on selling your drum carder? ;)
LOl, nope. I can't imagine I will never use it again. I cycle through my different hobbies. I'm not quilting as much anymore, done gone back to paper crafts. But hey, you'd never know if you don't ask, so thanks for askin!
Absolutely. You just have to break it off into smaller pieces & fluff it a bit so you don't ruin the teeth on the carder.
You are welcome and thank you for the positive feedback as it is always appriciated!
Why thank you very much! Have fun!
LMAO yeah! Never thought of it that way. :) Have fun!
Thanks so much! I appriciate your positive feedback!
Sweeeeet!!!
I purchased mine from Susan's Fiber Shop in Columbus WI, and it is a Pat Green Deb Deluxe. I'll have to add that to the vid description! :) Thanks for the positive feedback! It is greatly appriciated!
LOL, I'm flattered but no, I use everything I make..eventually....LOL
Thanks for the positive feedback as it is always welcomed and appriciated!
Just call me "The Enabler!" *snort!*
Can you spin straight from a batt or do you have to do something else to it? Also, if you card a white batt, can you dye the batt? I would love to try this, but I don't have the time, money, or space.
Rexenne, do you sell your batts on Etsy?
It'd pretty darned frustrating spinning straight from the batt without stretching it out into spinnable "bite-size" pieces. Check out my video Batty Rovings for instruction on how to turn your batts into spinnable rovings. :)
Thanks so much for all the postive feedback! If anyone is unaware, I am doing a fundraiser to raise the funds to replace a RAM chip in my puter that is crappin out, making it impossible to edit video to upload to youtube. I have two more waiting to be edited! You can find my fundraiser page at rexenne. chipin. com/ new-1gig-ram-chip (take out spaces). I appriciate every little bit that helps! Thanks for your consideration and support!!
