COD is OVER... Xbox Activision is Shutting DOWN? We previously covered news on Call of Duty Warzone, SBMM, XDefiant, Helldivers 2 and Xbox shutting down studios. We're currently also having a lot of conversations about Sweet Baby Inc and Gamer Gate 2 right now in gaming as gamers had enough with Woke stuff in video games. Greed and arrogance. Gaming corporations telling their customers that they aren't good enough people to have the privilege of being their customers has done nothing but damage. I'm not going to be lectured to by Leftists on the virtues of their immorality. These people are absolute poison.
My first COD outright was the OG that started the franchise; I felt immersed in the setting and fought the battles like I was actually there, in WW2, going from one nation to another and seeing the stories of these normal people fighting and survivng in these battles.
When the last mission came to and end after hearing "Berlin is ours!" from my Soviet comrades in-game, I felt kinship, triumph... but a bit empty.
Then came COD: Finest Hour, where I got to see a different take on the campaign playstyle by having you play through the same nation campaign but from different characters; going from a Soviet infantryman to a sniper to a tank commander just felt like an ever evolving story.

Fortnite came up with a plan that worked for them. When the games format became popular, all these other games tried to make more expensive copies of it (battle pass, skins, etc). The reason it worked for fortnite is because they don't make u pay 70 for the game, then charge $20 for every bundle in the game. Fortnite also maintained its original identity. COD lost its identity trying to chase someone else's formula, which is why they aren't very respected. They took a game that was for mature audiences, and started using it to target children because they feel like they'd fork the money over. The big difference between the two, id say, is ethics.

The lack of campaign was quite literally the only reason i didnt buy the new mw3. As most cod vets would feel, the campaign is a critical point. Because originally you ONLY had campaigns. I dont even try the online side of modern cod games until i finish the campaign.

As well as cheaters on CoD, SBMM the kernel level Anti-Cheat on PC....Thats the issue with multiplayer games, too invasive regarding their tools to track down cheaters.

Fortnite ruined gaming. Battle pass everywhere.
I play fortnite with my friends and any in game currency can be earned just by playing and being patient. I never paid a cent for the in game currency and waited for major events to happen to get free V bucks and eventually earned enough to buy the pass. If I remember correctly, a single skin would cost around $12 worth of V bucks which, again, can be earned on your own and that is just for the skin, axes and gliders are slightly less but there are other skins and sets that can be unlocked by just playing and completing quests. If you're patient and it can even be gifted to you by other players but you'll have to set up a two step authorization in order to allow for that. The game is fun but not worth spending money on it.

I played few times in my life CoD Franchise and BF Franchise, I don`t understand why CoD Player are so mad, in the era of BF3 and CoD at same time, I realized BF is for man and CoD is for Children, everything in CoD is like Arcade Mode, and Everything in BF is like simulator mode.
I didn’t even bother buying MW3 this year, I bought MW2 and got bored of it after a month or two. I enjoyed the MW reboot but I think the last good COD for me was WW2, that game feels like COD. These games, they look good and the gameplay itself is good, but the old school games are so much better. I’m glad Xbox still has them store, I’ve bought most of them and I stick to them these days instead of buying the newer ones.
Shouldn't the characters start aging??? Make the old characters old in order to phase them out, and then bring in new ones that look like Lorenzo... not morph immortal characters already there. They could have honored all players that way.
I started playing CoD 1 day after CoD4 came out. I quit after BO3 and didn't come back until MW2...but I was a DMZ only player. I have 27 days played on MW3 and it's ALL Zombies....so I don't feel like I ever actually came back to CoD cause I won't touch any form of multiplayer until they get rid of rigged games (EOMM/SBMM ect.. ). I won't be buying CoD this year cause they are going back to round based Zombies.
Okay, play the game without buying bundles is the number one change they need to do, there force to do events and give away bundles that are only skins that wont matter, so either way your gonna get your butt beaten by another operator that doesn't even hsve a skin , sad and depressing

I LOVE modern fortnite. Its better than ever. My favorite thing is the zero build mode. I no longer have to play against a magic mansion/ tower builder who spawns in a whole city in thirty seconds. I also love the feel of the gun play.
Lastly, Fortnite has new modes and incentivises its creative mode by allowing battle pass xp in the mode. So, you can make your own maps, and grind the battle pass in it. As for prices, nothing is more than $30. Its not bad for thirty, because its a bundle That's cheaper than the whole set individually. They show you the price difference from the start, and there are come sets I only want one thing from.
I won't lie, i've spent a lot of money on Fortnite. BUT. The dens use the profit on the game, and they DO listen to the community. Though, there's a lot of children in it.
Tldr: my 30 year old ass loves Fortnite in its current state. Id rather play it, than over half the new games from 2021 forward.

Call of duty now is just a straight up hack able game full of competitive and toxic players. But Fortnite is a game that does just about everything now sure Fortnite can be competitive and toxic to. But you’re not realizing is that Fortnite isn’t trying to compete with call of duty compared to how many game modes are in Fortnite compared to call of duty. And honestly Fortnite has some really cool creative modes you can chill in, the only thing that call of duty has is zombies and maybe DMZ but I still consider DMZ full of toxic players and cheaters

cod ruined itself with blackops4.. storefront with no grind for items anymore.. stealing from rainbow six and other games for 2nd specials for operators... rush for blackout making the dev's start all over again near a year and some months before release with another cut on campaign.. modernwarfare was the hard push for warzone focus and streamer/casuals over modes and multiplayer 6v6 etc.. fortnite just introduced battlepasses and seasons with look how much money we have and how many streamers kept it hyped... so they turned cod into fortnite.. remember ww2 cod didn't have any skins that weren't in ww2, and last cod you would earn everything through grind..
I haven't played call of duty since Black Ops 1. The first entry I played was World at War. I don't miss it. It's the Madden of FPS games.

1)Fortnite is free. CoD is not free. 2)Fortnite sells you skins that you buy ONCE and can be used on any platform(PC, Mobile, Console). For CoD you have to buy the skins for each platform.

Surprised you didn't even try mw3 even on free trails at least 😅, but only bought it as a group of close friends we used to play every other night. But with mw3 we bearly played like 2 or 3 nights a week. But rebirth island reintroduction has make us play a bit more lately. Zombies was different and ok, but did get boring after missions completed.

sbmm is the problem. i dont care about the shop. i played call of duty first. it was called call of duty thats it. im a mobile player. and the prices are very cheap in comparison to cod mobile. not defending anything but sbmm is the problem. if the game is perfect with no shop. it still has sbmm. fortnites great as far as if your a free to play player not spending a dime. u dont get many character skins for free. warzone mobile. and cod mobile u do get good skins. for free. cod mobile has multi free gold guns. id rather pay for the map packs and they be good. fortnite no build is much better than cod console. cod and warzone mobile is fantastic.

How can call of duty be ever great game again when you have the worst company ever activision blizzard that never communicates and puts silly match making system SBMM and micro transactions and over priced bundles hackers cheaters and all the rubbish that goes with it I’ve been enjoying dead island two and abite of Tom Clancy division one because it’s simply no fun in cod no more and I’m enjoying those games because they are much more fun
