    Jonathan, this was indeed one of my best sessions with you. It is the bases of getting everything started in 3D modeling. From the contours, massing etc. Great tutorial!!!

      Yes the Vectorworks site modelling suite is often overlooked but is amazing for early stage site analysis with insights into to site drainage, and cut and fill etc.

    Hi Jonathan, thanks for all the knowledge shared. I'm having trouble exporting the terrain model to ifc. Could you share a video showing how to export to ifc? Thank you very much from a student from Brazil.

    Great video for some very simple and useful unexplored tools! You talk about "adding surfaces" by holding down the alt key. Does this work on Mac? I can't seem to replicate what you've done in the video... thanks!

    Hi there, currently using Vectorworks 2023. I've followed the instructions to the letter, but the site model's proposed contours aren't affected by the massing model at all. Do you know why this could be?

    • @jonathanreevescad
      @jonathanreevescad  7 месяцев назад

      Check the setting in OIP and alos make sure you set the site model to proposed for 2d and 3d then update.

    Hi Jonathan, when you're doing the pitched roof on the massing model is there a way to create gables on it, or is this something we need to request VW ?

    • @jonathanreevescad
      @jonathanreevescad  2 года назад

      Yes, you need to ungroup the massing model then you can change the roof profiles top gables.

      @@jonathanreevescad Hi! no, I mean the MEP tool sets (ceiling grid, circuiting, receptacle, piping, etc.) I've talked with some colleges and the lack of an MEP module is very limiting and these tools are not well explained anywhere, at least I've haven't found anything on video... and for people with English as a foreign language text instructions are not always the best way, please do a tutorial explaining these tools and their pros and cons... thank you again for your content.
