Hi Bricksie. I am so glad you are going to have a break. You absolutely deserve it after all the hard work of the past three months. You never take time off and you need to consider your heath and mental ability to cope with so many things. Hope Jose has a good break too! Enjoy your time away and we'll all welcome you back in a refreshed and relaxed state.
I'm self employed too over 10 years, I know how hard it is to take any kind of holiday because you're constantly thinking you should be working, that you're losing money, that you're being lazy, etc. But you MUST take these breaks and get away for a while from time to time. Especially after a huge project like this, you've done so well. You and your family should take a week's break at least and likely don't take Lego with you or film any videos either. You and your family deserve a break after this mammoth project, you deserve some time to rest to enjoy it all.
At this point I am convinced that building Lego and building Ikea furniture are just different sides of the same coin - yes I will be building ikea tomorrow to store some lego, why do you ask? :) I hope you will enjoy your time with your brother and cousin!
One of the hardest part of owning your own business is that there is always something to do and no boss to tell you to take the weekend off. But take it from someone who worked 7 days a week for the last year and a half, take this break, don't stress about the work that needs to happen, enjoy the moment, and be present with your loved ones. Your body and mind will thank you. You'll come back refreshed and recharged for the next season of this project.
Getting addicted to work is a real thing you have to be careful. You seem to do a good job splitting up work and family time but it’s definitely good to be conscious of!
As a small biz owner myself, I completely understand not being mentally able to disconnect! But I've got employees and customers to deal with, so consider yourself blessed!
Passion is great. Working your passion is an awesome thing. But...Josse is working just as hard taking care of your kids! And taking care of helping out with your business. You should really treat her to a weekend away to some massage spa by herself for a relaxing weekend by herself.
I'm watching this video late but I would still like to say it's about time you had a break. Hope you've enjoyed it and come back refreshed . You deserve it after all the work you've been doing x
Your wife and kids should be your number one priority. Take them with you on the trip, she deserves it as well supporting you through all of this. And go Oilers! We need the cup back in Canada, it’s been 31 years!
Life is short, make sure you enjoy time with your family and friends. I have just lost a friend who had a young family like you and it puts everything into perspective and what is truly important. Whilst you re lucky you are doing something you love, remember it’s just a job!
You deserve a break like many have said. You enjoy what you do for a living so it doesn't seem like a job. Hard to step away from what you love. Almost consider it a Lego addiction. Thanks so much for the entertainment you supply all is viewers.
Everyone needs a break now and then. Just think about the good that even a little break will do and then come back feeling so much better. Look after yourself ❤
Bricksie, always remember you need to make sure you have a good Work/Life mix and Family, even if its your brother and cousin, always come first. Keep Brickin.
Thank you Jordan for sharing what you do - absolutely amazing what you have achieved so far - thanks to you I have Mils plated my whole layout which I love - though it can be expensive to do - but still thank you 😊
IT"S OKAY. There is time to build. These videos of the studio have BEEN AMAZING!! Love watching all the construction. There will always be time to build the sets.
Here’s an idea, use what you’ve built and just get it up off the floor. Build the other two tables and when there finish moved the legos over to those tables and then finish the first two tables. Problem solved.
Everybody needs some time off. Especially after all the work you did, it is good to go out just relax. And when you come back, you have a fresh view and maybe even better ideas.
Defo agree break is required. You've been so busy. Well survive somehow without a few days of uploads! Have a great time away. Last thing any of us would want is you to fall out of love with lego due to over working.
My word! Yes, as much as you don’t want to go… you’ll probably end up switching off and having a blast in the moment 👍🏻 This is exactly what you need, you probably don’t even realise how close you probably are to burning out. Your mind/mental health will thank you! Have a great time!
I'd help you if I could, I like building Ikea furnitures, it's like building Lego only heavier, and cheaper 😂I don't blame you not being too excited to go, especially with the studio not being done, and leaving your wife and toddlers at home, the timing isn't really right, that would make the trip more stressful than enjoyable to me. Anyway, you're probably almost home now so that's over, I hope you're well rested and ready to tackle the tables. You'll be building Lego again in no time! 😊
I don't feel like you got away from Lego. It's just a different side of it the probably most of us had to deal with. You are on a mission to create the best space to build, display and store your Lego. That's something thats directly related to the hobby. Like, how many of us are always trying to think of ways to expand our Lego display and storage space every time we build a new set or moc? It's exactly the same, wether if you have just a couple of billy shelves like me or you are building a studio out of a warehouse. It's part of the hobby. I can't say that you ever got away from it. Maybe the new basement content, but I also found it really cool. And.. hey.. that's where all your lego was, so I guess it counts!!!
Bricksie, as a mental health survivor, it is hard to slow down and even have a break. It sounds mean, but the studio and everything will be there when you get back as you left it. Don't risk burnout brother. I believe all of your viewers will understand, I definately will.
Having a job that you're passionate about doing and you *want* to do is a great thing. Yes, it can burn you out, but it's much better than working long hours at a job you hate because you *need* to do it or you'll run out of money. That being said you HAVE to take some time off for your sanity. I have a hard time leaving too, but once I'm out of the office for a day or two it feels awesome to reset. Sounds like you need your brother to come down for a day or two to help building tables after the trip🤣
Very glad to hear you're taking a break. You deserve it. A lot of people don't understand just how demanding of a job being a content creator is. Especially one that makes videos as often as you. Enjoy your rest, can wait to see you put the city together once you're back
Daily streak 28. Emjoy your weekend away Bricksie, you deserve it more than anything. I shall put the streak on hold for you to go away as to keep it going once you are back.
You’ve done an amazing job of moving the studio forward and building and reviewing Lego. Enjoy your break. It’ll all be here when you get back. You seem to me to have a very healthy marriage. Lots of great teamwork going on here.
Some in the comments saying Jordan’s selfish to not include Josee and the kids doesn’t realize that it’s Jordan’s brother who planned the vacation to be guys only one
I think you're making two mistakes, one, humidity - windows will collect a lot of water/mold, so you need to be able to access them during the seasons. Second mistake, store boxes for a long time, you need an average humidity of 40 percent! Third mistake, you have no barriers for spectators and no concept - in other words, theft! The difference in ground level is probably 4 centimeters on the surface, get supports that you can adjust. I wish you all the best from Germany, you can do it!
You deserve some free time with the boys, we'll still be here on the channel when you're back! Take a few days with the wife later this summer too! You have done a great job that has been fun to follow!
Love your content, lego related or not! An idea for your city! Ive just got back from New Zealand an i think it would look amazing if on one section of your central mountain there was a large glacier!
You explained everything very well... you and Josee and your families seem to have it all sorted, so no "helpful" advice from me! Enjoy the break, Josee 😜 Oh, and you too, Bricksie!
You have a lot of creativity and like an artist or writer your always focused on the next idea I have a hobby of helping in a wood shop building stuff for family and ideas don’t drop easy. You’re a great content creator the passion shows.
Enjoy the break bricksie and charge the batteries. Family time is always important my friend. You will be back soon and enjoying your Lego building for sure . Try and disconnect for a few days a take inspiration from were you go with your family. Here’s an idea you need to build a golf course in the new city . See you soon bud 👊
Bricksie: Having been in business most of my working life, I understand where you are coming from. It used to piss me of to have people tell me "You are in business for yourself, your time is your own, you can come and go as you please" This from people who have never been there and don't have a clue. Just venting, CEK
Building lego is what we like, but having a lego studio is a dream, it is great to watch you build one, i am sorry that it comes to an end, thank you for sharing 🎉
You need a mini vacation after all your hard work, or you will end up exhausted x I love your videos, but I also would like to see you have a break too 😊
Why are you so sucessful? Because you work, change and always consistent. You deserve a break your studio will be there and so will your audience. You will get some mental energy when you take time off. Enjoy your family, your hobby will be there.
enjoy the time off city plans can wait also congrats too ur Oilers makin it to the next round mine didntt even make the playoffs so might as well route for ur team
I've been a Bricksie subscriber for a while now but lately it's just been a bit...well.. exhausting. Daily uploads is way too much, unless you watch RUclips all day. It also means, as someone who watches it on and off, that I'll skip videos and just watch the most recent. Maybe after a break a 3-videos a week schedule might be better? You might even find that the number of views per video increases and there's no need to make one-per-day.
You deserve a break ! I know it’s hard not to feel bad leaving the kids but Mrs bricksie will get her time too! Then next y’all take a trip together! 🥰
Go relax and enjoy without guild. You can give your family and work more creativity and energy when you take time to relax! FirstTakeCare.. of yourself too.. .
It's because your job is your hobby as well. And you're into completing things....which I totally understand. Just remember that everything will be there when u get back🤣
Yeah... try getting into market gardening/raising livestock. Makes it near impossible to leave when you don't have any hired help. Animals need fed. Plants needs watered. Leaving for any amount of time has become one of my biggest nightmares. Which I have to face in a couple of weeks.
Man you got to hire a PT employee to take some of the burden off yourself. Shocking you haven’t experienced some level of burn out yet, maybe you have. Obviously, there’s a cost that comes with that but might be worth it to help keep things moving and have better work/life balance.
Hey Bricksie! I must say congrats on the Oilers winning too. It hurts that the Canucks lost, but I will be cheering Edmonton on to bring the cup back home!! ❤ Enjoy your time off.
I know you love your work now and we also love to see everything you do. Either if it is building the studio of building lego is both fun. But you must also take time for your family or other family members. I am sure we will survive a few days without an update. Or maybe you want to make record two updates in one day but still post them here on different days. Or just simple make a short video where you mention you will be away for a few days and you will be back at this date. Then people who come here know you will be away for a few days and then people will know and they will accept it. It would be bad if you don't communicate and people will not know when there is an update for a few days. So you can take a few free/family days off. Remember that time is also important in life. 😃👍
Gotta avoid burnout bro, spend time with your loved ones as much as possible
Hi Bricksie.
I am so glad you are going to have a break. You absolutely deserve it after all the hard work of the past three months. You never take time off and you need to consider your heath and mental ability to cope with so many things.

balance.
find your center, balance is everything
Definitely agree with this. Especially with kids, they grow up fast

The Studio is coming along nicely. Take Some time off. Your body needs it. You will feel refreshed.

One of many good ideas.
You deserve a break, as does Josee, and I'm positive you will come back with renewed energy and fresh ideas. Have a great time.

Enjoy your vacation bricksie! Well deserved and if my opinion matters.. dont feel bad about taking a holiday, you do so much for us
Bricksie, always remember you need to make sure you have a good Work/Life mix and Family, even if its your brother and cousin, always come first.
Time is flying by! I'm so happy you've gotten to this point! Love watching this process come to light 😊
Here’s an idea, use what you’ve built and just get it up off the floor. Build the other two tables and when there finish moved the legos over to those tables and then finish the first two tables. Problem solved.
Yes, take a break and spend sometime chilling with family and enjoy yourself. Youve earned a break.
Enjoy your weekend. Everyone needs a break. Hope Josee gets a chance to have a girls weekend some time too.
Everybody needs some time off. Especially after all the work you did, it is good to go out just relax. And when you come back, you have a fresh view and maybe even better ideas.
Enjoy the break Jordan you deserve it - if there is no video for a day (or 2) it doesn’t matter at all
Defo agree break is required. You've been so busy. Well survive somehow without a few days of uploads! Have a great time away. Last thing any of us would want is you to fall out of love with lego due to over working.
You deserve a break ;) the studio has made massive progress with all your hours of work. Take the family too!
My word!
Yes, as much as you don’t want to go… you’ll probably end up switching off and having a blast in the moment 👍🏻
This is exactly what you need, you probably don’t even realise how close you probably are to burning out.
Your mind/mental health will thank you!
Have a great time!
I love the ceiling
Vacation is important! You've earned it! From one dad and husband to another, really make sure Mrs. Bricksie takes a vacation too! (like you said)
I'm due a vacation myself but some health issues have put my plans on hold.
Lego will last forever. The twins growing in imagination won't. Share the time not the short term goal. Liv🎈
You deserve it! We’ll be here when you get back
I'd help you if I could, I like building Ikea furnitures, it's like building Lego only heavier, and cheaper 😂I don't blame you not being too excited to go, especially with the studio not being done, and leaving your wife and toddlers at home, the timing isn't really right, that would make the trip more stressful than enjoyable to me. have fun on your trip away and good lucky we will see you soon and make share you have fun on your trip.👍

I've had a pretty tumultuous couple of months, and it's like the daily Bricksie studio vids have been a red thread through that whole time
Bricksie, as a mental health survivor, it is hard to slow down and even have a break. It sounds mean, but the studio and everything will be there when you get back as you left it. Don't risk burnout brother. I believe all of your viewers will understand, I definately will.
Hello Bricksie, You are doing a great job! I love your Videos and VLOGS. Keep up the hard work. You got this, man!!!
Having a job that you're passionate about doing and you *want* to do is a great thing. Keep it up jordan, I’m watching your videos since the last 2 years, everyday! I juste live your content so much, thank you for brightening my day
Work without rest and a recharge leads to burnout, good you decided to be fair to yourself and taking a vacation
Have a holiday! We can manage for 4 days without content! 😅
GO. HAVE. FUN! You deserve a break. Your personal Legoland will be there when you get back 😊
Very glad to hear you're taking a break. You deserve it. A lot of people don't understand just how demanding of a job being a content creator is. Especially one that makes videos as often as you. Enjoy your rest, can wait to see you put the city together once you're back
Three months? Wow. Seems like yesterday we got the first look at the studio. But it makes sense when we think about all the changes.
You've done a wonderful job. I think putting up the artwork would give you a sense of ease to get stuff done.
Every so often, just like with your phone, laptop, Xbox etc, you have to hit the off button for a while and refresh n reboot or burn out.. Godspeed!
You've been working hella hard. Take a break, enjoy yourself!
Daily streak 28.
Emjoy your weekend away Bricksie, you deserve it more than anything. I shall put the streak on hold for you to go away as to keep it going once you are back.

Hope you enjoyed your break, this time difference thing means it's Wednesday in Australia so it must be over and your already back building tables.😂
Did anyone notice the Captain America shield at 1:19 in the big room, but then it’s on a shelf at 2:50 !?
He has two.
Enjoy the break bricksie and charge the batteries. Family time is always important my friend. You will be back soon and enjoying your Lego building for sure . You've more than earned a break.
You could very easily become a Hermit 😂
Wish you and your family well
You need a mini vacation after all your hard work, or you will end up exhausted x I love your videos, but I also would like to see you have a break too 😊
Enjoy man!
Take a break. You certainly deserve it.
People don't understand that even though it's something you love there is still a lot of "work" to be done.
Enjoy your break, we’ll all be here when you get back.
I hope you enjoyed your break, you definitely deserved it!
Getting stuff done is addictive :)
Why are you so sucessful? Because you work, change and always consistent. You deserve a break your studio will be there and so will your audience. You will get some mental energy when you take time off. Enjoy your family, your hobby will be there.

Have fun with friends and family and recharge your lego batteries!
Hi big fan I think it would be better to the Lego city up against the wall around the room and then you will still have space in the center
I love the shelving so much!!!! It’s such an improvement from the last set of shelves!!!!❤
is there a bathroom in the new place
Always try not to get burnout cause that can be hard and also try not do it cause you need it do cause you want to!
Will you have tours or charge tour fees? Or is this a private facility?
Hope you had a great weekend break you deserved it
Hey, I live in Kamloops too. If you do make it here, it would be awesome to hope to meet you.
Have a rest from it luv you will enjoy it even more when you come back . Have a great time
Go relax and enjoy without guild. You can give your family and work more creativity and energy when you take time to relax! FirstTakeCare.. of yourself too.. .
Congrats on 3 months of the studio is
Bricksie was-Mart has the new speed champions set in early I got the G-wagon pack
It's because your job is your hobby as well. And you're into completing things....which I totally understand. Just remember that everything will be there when u get back🤣

There is, simon works for him,
Congrats on your Oilers! What a hard fought series. Now go bring the cup back to Canada... Oh and your studio is looking amazing 🤩
I had the chance to watch that game live, and I flipping missed it! 🤦♂️But the Oilers won, so I now have an excuse to watch the next round! 😂
Hey Bricksie! I must say congrats on the Oilers winning too. It hurts that the Canucks lost, but I will be cheering Edmonton on to bring the cup back home!! ❤ Enjoy your time off.
As a blues fan, I’m just wistfully watching all the action 🥲
We did win kind of recently tho
I know you love your work now and we also love to see everything you do. Either if it is building the studio of building lego is both fun. But you must also take time for your family or other family members. I am sure we will survive a few days without an update. Or maybe you want to make record two updates in one day but still post them here on different days. Then people who come here know you will be away for a few days and then people will know and they will accept it. It would be bad if you don't communicate and people will not know when there is an update for a few days. So you can take a few free/family days off. Remember that time is also important in life. 😃👍
Your upcoming Whatnot stream is canceled then?
Is this rented or purchased property? You did a fantastic job making the place look great and fit the purpose!
He owns it..
could you hire a team one more time to build the tables so it get done. so you can relax and chill. do what's best for you and the family
This may be a good idea for mental health. I’m the same way. I’m a workaholic and it’s’ hard to make yourself step away to enjoy your time off.
I guess the plan has always been for Jordan to take over once construction was finished. No harm in have an acquaintance in from time to time though.
Be a good idea
Bro go have fun!
Oilers win!! Bruins start golfing!!
You need a break. Enjoy it! And yes, your wife needs a weekend of her own.
