Just bought a minie changer yesterday for a 4 tire tube job I've never owned one before and at 20 dollars per tire at a tire shop should pay for its self the first use
Would have been a lot easier if you would have mounted the changer to something solid, it was to unstable, way to much movement. At least you admitted the failure of not using the proper tools, a tire iron at harbor freight is about 7 bucks and cheaper than a tube. another tip, you really don't have to change out the valve core unless its faulty and most of the time they are not. Replacing valve cores is an old tire shop trick to up charge the repair cost. They been doing it for so long now that it's in everyone's brain that they thing its needed to be done.
