Glad I found your channel. TO be honest, I have always shied away from wide angle lens but after checking your web site and see how creative you use them and the two tips you mentioned, I'm embracing them.
How wide is your wide-angle lens? From your photos, I can assume a third tip with using wide angle lens is to shoot from a low angle position...to help emphasize both the subject and the environments.
Thanks for the great tips!!! I subscribed already

Is 35mm good enough for wide lens? I like your style for wedding photographs. Inspires me to do one

Hi! Thank you for your support! 35mm is sometimes wide enough, but for me personally, it's often not 'dramatic' enough. Because the wider you go, the more stretched the perspective will be and that for me, creates depth. With 35mm, the perspective is much much more compressed, but the good thing is, you won't face distortion issues. It really depends on how you want you shot to turn out. Maybe you can try both in one same shot and see the difference. Hope this helps!

Hi Jamie! Usually F4.0. But it doesnt really matter for me because my wide angle shots usually emphasizes backgrounds as well

@@KennfooWeddings cool thanks for your reply :) do you then think the nikon 14-30 f4 can get the job done ? Or would you spend the extra cash for f2.8 ?

@@jamiecurrie4590 Yes it can definitely get the job done. The aperture would really depends on if you do alot of low light shoot. However for myself, I do alot of night shoots but my 16-35mm f4 has stabilization so it somehow compensate me with a few stops. I personally had used both f2.8 and f4 and I find both gets the job done. But it really does depend on what type of shoot and what situation you will use that lens for.
