Brent Smith has one of the best voices in rock. Even better if you can find live videos of his to react to. There's an old video of him singing 45 with just a guitar if you can find it, it'll really blow your mind. Call Me and Heroes and I dare you are some of my favorite songs from the group, and Brent and Myers have a acoustic collab they do that really emphasize his voice.
You gotta do Second Chance (Acoustic) version really really lit and one of his best Vocals out there.

I never heard a bad song from shinedown. Save me and call me are my fav songs. Saw them with five finger death punch in sioux falls. He stood in the middle of the crowd, all lights off except he had us turn our flashlights on our phones. There he stood, in the crowd singing call me, with nothing but his voice. It was the most powerful thing i have ever witnessed.
I absolutely love shinedown vocals. Best vocalist in rock music today. IMO. My favorite is Seether though. Shawn Morgan’s vocals are insanely good as well.

Gonna see Shinedown next month (17th) for the 3rd time.... they are supporting Alter Bridge along with Sevendust. Love Shinedown. I love the songs 'Cut The Cord', 'I'll Follow You' and 'Diamond Eyes (Boom-Lay Boom-Lay)'..... aww who am I kidding I love all of Shinedown's material.

Shinedown is just as good if not better live. Brent is from Knoxville, TN which is where I am. I've seen them 5 times. If you ever get the opportunity to see them, take it bruh. You will not regret it.

I've been having a lot of suicidal thoughts, recently. Like a storm. I just want to thank you for your words in this video. Your words touched me.
My stepdad killed himself in our kitchen when I was 15, me and my brother found him. It took 3 weeks before we had the courage to scoop up the pile of brains the police didn't take. My aunt put a shotgun and a rifle in her mouth, she was a nurse and knew how to do it. Suicide hurts everyone but you.

I love live versions of this. I used to have cd with a live acoustic version of this done from a radio studio. It wasn't a pitch perfect performance but damn I could feel it and I think it added to the song.
