It's just so cool that the frustrations of the POV of this song are not just expressed in his voice and of course in the lyrics but also in the musical accompaniment. Even with a guitar alone, he was able to deliver the denial and refusal of his true feelings, his frustrations towards it, and finally his acceptance, surrender, and admission to what he feels.
