In German they're called Hakennasennatter, which means hooknose snake. Which sounds very similar to hognose snake now that I think about it. Anyway, just a little fun fact.

Really puts into perspective how much you guys film and upload if these are two months old by the time this was posted. There's a two month footage delay. Not that I'm complaining--it brings me immense joy to see baby snakes of all species and such careful and respectful breeding and raising, especially on this scale of operations. I really appreciate seeing such care taken to produce quality animals and to share them with the world. Snakes are always underappreciated as pets. While I can never own a hognose (I am one of the rare people who has a serious reaction to the venom, as I learned from a personal encounter), seeing these babies puts such a big smile on my face. I'd love to co-own one one day. I just personally cannot risk getting bitten.
Honestly I'm getting bored of this lol. Luckily they are still mixing other videos into the mix.
@@fenus609 Hatching videos are weirdly enough my favorite videos. Those and "check out our entire collection" type videos. And pairings.
With hognose snakes, the only time you'd risk getting bitten is if they think you are food and want to eat you.
@@uniwolfgamer1094 I can't risk it. I have an anaphylactic reaction to them. I think they're adorable but they can kill me and fast. I much prefer royal pythons and Burmese pythons so no real loss.
I'm so sorry you can't own a hognose. I have one and by far they are the best pet snake and no one can change my mind

This is the problem I'm having right now but instead of snakes it's kittens...
Because of you guys I have realized I am a snake person. I LOVE SNAKES!! Over the last six months I have been collecting equipment and learning everything I could so I could get my first Ball Python. Surprisingly my 78 year old stepmom decided she wanted one too. So as of last Saturday we now have Tabatha, a normal for her and a Mojave for me. When we upgrade the tanks we'll have a 20L to fill and I seriously want a hognose. I would love to get one of your babies in a few years but I live in Florida.

Hatched in August, uploaded in end of October... I love trying to put together these hatching vids because of the staggering of everything, kinda like a mystery puzzle as to the proper order

I got my baby hognose from morph market (the seller was Snekomastyx and I highly recommend them. They have great customer service and still helps me out if I have any questions). I absolutely love him and if it wasn't for this channel making me fall in love with hognoses I would've gotten a corn snake which I don't think would have been right for me.

Hey guys, so I don't know if you are aware but you should always tare your scale before weighing. Usually by using a Nicole as a Nickle will always weigh 5 grams and if it is more or less it needs to be recalibrated
The first one out of the egg with the pattern Emily liked should be named. "Deft Leopard." (I'll see my way out.)

I got my beautiful het lavender/coral boy from a breeder out in California off of Morph Market a few years ago and couldn't be happier as well! He had some interesting genetics so I guess it's a little bit of a shame I had no plans to breed snakes lol
