Rewatching on June 4th coincidentally the date of the murder, which I didn't consciously remember. Juan Martinez's performance during this trial is on fire.
Flashbacks. Her testimony was the worst. If you believe her then you’ll believe anyone and you’re easily manipulated.

I think it is interesting that none of the accusers filed legal complaints before his profile skyrocketed after the Arias trial.

So, to save embarrassment, he barely apologized, but instead of facing firing and charges, he agreed to be disbarred!! Crazy right?? He seemed so shy and decent! Goes to show we really don't know anyone behind their mask! He could get a license in another state, but has been shamed, so I hope he saved his money while he had a good job!

Haha me too. It’s such a crazy story that she would tell the detectives and really thought they’d believe her lies. It proves the level of insanity of her state mind.
It's a modern equivalent at looking at a freak of an animal in a cage. The brutality, the mentality, the lies, the combat and the triumph of good vs evil. It's compelling.

They all kept the bedroom doors closed and Travis's bedroom was on the left side of the house and roommates on the right. Roommates were gone almost entire time after he was killed. One thought it was napoleon, Travis's dog
They honestly believed that Napoleon the dog, had caused the smell. They thought he had a bad tummy, and also thought someone was popping by to feed and care for him. Napoleon had no food for those 5 days either. Poor little dog. Knowing his owner was dead upstairs and no one was listening when he barked.
Once a year I go back through all these, especially her cross examination as I find them fascinating 🧐
The psychology behind this, from the build up to the murder, the killing, the interviews and the cross examination, it’s all fascinating and dark at the same time.

Her demeamor is infuriating. The fact she not only killed travis but did overkill , is infuriating enough but then just to sit there aand watch her arrogancy is disgusting. I think she thinks she would have gottem away with it based on looks alone. He was so much bigger than she is. Shes three inches taller than i am. I have gotten out of some things bc cops thought thst i couldnt have possibly done snything bc im too small . Believe me , i wasnt complaining but i also didnt push my luck or murder anyone either. Like i said, her looks have a lot to do with why she has gotten away with so much snd she knows it too.
I've watched snippets here and there of this case and watched part of an interrogation but I've never watched the full trial. I have heard it's one of the best to watch due to Mr. Martinez and I'm bored so here it goes... Thanks Court TV for posting it!

I’ve watched all of his videos. There is a new Hodi video out called Jodi Arias trial craziest moments. Somebody made a compilation. I like it 👍 It shows the best clips of the psychologist testimony. He same channel made one called Alyce in Juanderland which is a compilation on Juan destroying the fat lesbian quack who loved Jodi and called Travis “the perpetrator” during her expert testimony.

I bet those roommates felt really stupid after they realized that they had been living with a decomposing corpse for 5 full days! Didn't they notice the dog wasn't cared for? That they hadn't seen Travis at all? The smell? The locked door? Come on
Maybe afraid to get involved. They might get blamed. In this day and age and rights being violated, it's not a stretch of the imagination that could happen.
I can’t believe there were people there living with the corpse and they didn’t check on him for a week? 😮how? Thus part is unreal. I’ve smelled a decomposed body before as someone in our apartment building died once and for a week the stench was unreal not to mention the amount of flys it attracts. Just unbelievable 😮
@@wotiluv We don't know how long the roommates came and went. They also were on the other side of the house downstairs. So, perhaps they thought of old food or something. They didn't even consider a dead person in the house.

But if they were on the other side of the house and if windows were open throughout the home maybe but like many people I cant believe they didn't smell it .

Travis was tucked away in the very corner of the house in his walk in shower with the door shut, then you have to go through his long walk in closet/hallway, then through his master bedroom with the door shut, through a huge second story living room, Then the smell has to penetrate through all those walls and doors all the way through the roommates door It was a huge house. I am not surprised they didn't smell a very strong odor.
Perhaps they might have caught a small whif but it's not surprising to me they didn't really smell it.
And we don't know how close the roommates were to him.
They very well could've just stuck to themselves mostly and didn't really keep tabs on Travis.
They maybe could've thought things were a little off but nothing major to alert them if they aren't even coming out of their room much or out of the house alot.

I find it downright bizarre that Travis laid there for six days. Considering he had roommates, two of them, he was popular, the way it sounded, he also had jobs, church obligations and he had a large family. It’s just strange to me, six days is a long ass time to go out of contact from that many people that close to him.
That's not even mentioning the smell.

Judge Stephens did a very good job during this trial. Any perceived wrong call on her part could have been used on grounds for an appeal. Arias lost that appeal, and will remain in prison for the rest of her life. She did her job, the state won, a murderer is where she should be... it's a win win.

What I don’t understand is: the 2 other friends especially the one listening to music didn’t smell the decomposition odor that other friends smelled while entering the house?

I'm not blaming Travis or his friends but someone in his circle should have told him to at least change the code for the garage door. Mimi had instantly her guard up and told him to report his stalker. I bet some of his friends & family did too...
I'm also still shocked that the police didn't react to the tire slashing - if so it could might have prevented some things or at least slowed it down or made it more complicated for her to get to him.

You know what’s interesting? She didn’t want to lose Travis as a love interest. So when she feels betrayed what does she do? Stab him in the heart ( how appropriate). And she obtained one injury and that was to her left ring finger. How symbolic. The finger where we wear the symbol of holy matrimony.

Luckily the jury was smart enough to see the truth. Prosecutor was so agressive ( which is what makes him a good prosecutor), that could have easily hurt his case just because of the domestic alligations ( which are bullcrap)
thanks! some fools are saying that he was only aggressive in this trial but its just his style. there are other youtube videos of him at other trials where he uses this exact approach to the defendants because most of them are full of themselves just like this one was and are trying to take control of the courtroom. he was brilliant.

Travis’ room was tucked away from the other rooms . There was stairs and a hallway leading to his room . Jodi locked the bedroom door and Travis was closed up in the shower . I’m sure the other roommates smelled something but you know guys they probably thought it was trash or something. Only one roommate was there the other was house sitting for his girlfriend’s parents. They also thought he had already left for his Cancun trip .

Yes, and I wished he could have been strong enough to cut all ties with her earlier on. And to have changed all the locks etc. But and this just my opinion, I think his upbringing may have made somehow either gave him not a strong sense of self or something. He kept the door open for the sex. Of course not a reason to get killed, and we were all young once. But he really needed to cut her off a lot sooner.

Killing someone does not make you a murder. A verdict is made upon the intention and not the act.

No excuse 😢 even though he degraded her by cheating on her. My recollection he had a new girlfriend but he had last fling. Then night of passion washing away his guilt,he told her it was over. Then she stabbed him repeatedly and shot him 😢. It's very sad 😢😭 it came to this,and she deserves life never to do that to another human 😅
