You are one lucky guy not to have developed a gasket leak by the way that gasket looks. They make a tool to install the gasket or you can make one yourself for about $5. Ultra Copper Permatex gasket sealer would have given you a little insurance but all in all the bike sounds like it’s running pretty well. Hope it holds up for you.
Thanks for posting this video. I found it very helpful when I had to make a similar repair on mine (retaining ring failure).
No problem! Glad it helped and thanks for watching :)
Nice video bro. 👌🏾
Thanks dude 🤘🤘
If it helps I use long acorn nuts on my exhaust studs which stopes any corrosion and crud getting on the thread.
Hmm that’s a VERY nice tip! Cheers for that! 🤘🤘

Thanks for the tip Bob I’ll remember that for next time. Thanks for watching :)
How does it work being in the wibbly wobbly bike club and also the Harley owners club? Surely you can only be a member of one?
Man you can use power tools so much faster
What's to stop the pipe from pulling back out of that end ring, again?
Pretty sure it’s just friction fit and once the exhaust mounting brackets are tight this end won’t really move 👍
Well, let us know if comes apart.
@@mgklclstlmn 6months later. Still good :)
When replacing the donut gasket on a 2004 Harley dyana super glide
