Fruit of the Loom sweats have moved to the top of my rotation for all outdoor adventures. They provide the warmth and breathability that my large size legs demand.
I'm really not ok with slash pockets (which primarily access from the side rather than the top). Whenever I sit down in them, it results in the truest meaning of "pocket dump." :-(
I've been using my la police gear pants for work, hiking, and camping for around 15 years. Not so much for summer, but for cooler weather and where you need something fairly durable.
You can thank China for the $25 pants. And by the way when you scroll to the bottom of the description on the product website, you’re also warned that the pants will expose you to arsenic/ carcinogens.
KUHL is my fav brand. They got so many different types of hiking pants and a mixture of other pants that you can use for hiking or just around town also
Thank you for all the work you do. Most of us appreciate it. I was going to say you look over 6 feet taill. Was wondering if you noticed the short fly ? You will if it bites you. LoL, that's how I learned that.
@@gideonstactical all love man 😂😂 tip: follow jaw line a little further back towards ear. Also go a bit farther down under jaw. Frames face better and easier to maintain going forward 😉👍🏻
G'day Aaron, I have the Atlas jobs, fantastic, though I reckon these are fit for purpose, (pardon the pun). A bit lighter, slimmer and hiking I wouldn't be overly filling the pockets anyway. As long as the elastic holds up over time and yep with ya 2 in. belt loops would have been better. But man 25 knicker USD is a great deal IMO. I'll be trying a pair and if I like 'em I'll get a couple more. As always, thanks for the look/appraisal mate. Cheers Duke. P.S. "adventure awaits you"' on the fly, reminds me of "Deliverance" hehehe ; ) P.P.S. RAT 1 in AUS 8, yeah still gets a gig. Often needs a tune up, mind you, easy enough. I know they did a D2 version, but I reckon the design justifies a S30 or 35, albeit for extra dough. Also,. btw mate , .......... you must have enough by now, ...... when is your knife display/museum opening ; )
I can see it right away, pants are to tight. I'm short with large thighs, would never work. Absolutely nothing worse for me than feeling like I am wearing shrink wrap, especially with a lot of activity. Plus carrying in my pocket isn't going to work either. If they made a relaxed fit, I might try. Wish these companies would get away from the skimping on a little fabric and just do it right.

Wow! $25 for decent quality hiking pants?! Thank you!
You bet!

Absolute perfect timing on this video. I just started shopping for some outdoor pants.
Awesome!!

I’ve been using Carhartt nylon work pants and they dry out fast and a little more rugged than most hiking pants.
Really like my Carhartt Nylon work pants have been great for hiking and they do well at drying out.
Been looking for pants like these with pockets, I don't hike much but for everyday these look perfect. Will be taking 4 with your code, thanks.
Awesome! Hope they serve you well.
Outstanding presentation once again man, thumbnail is fantastic as well! 👌👌
Thank you so much 😀
If they make 38/38 with some wider leg openings (I have cankles ) I’ll have to give LAPG a look.
Funny I just placed an order from LAPG and these was 1 of the items. RAT 1 for 15 yrsa
Thank you. But the zipper looks short. Kinda like other brands. Not standard zipper. I noticed because I'm 6'5 tall. Best regards.
Ya it wasn’t an issue for me but I am 6ft 2in

Sometimes, if you wear suspenders you may notice it also. To much gear in cargo pockets, weight.
Your video inspired me so I just ordered 2 pair. I've had good luck with other purchases from LA Police Gear so I'm gonna try them!
Good luck! Hope they serve you well
Just picked some up from your review, look like some good pants especially at $25.
Right on, hope they serve you well!
How do these compare to like north face or patagonia hiking pants?
I am not sure 🤔 I usually hike in Columbia or orvis
Are these pants good for every day where even if you’re not a camping person or go on hikes
Yes totally 👍
2:52 you know why they put that in their
How rip resistant are they?
I don’t think they’re built out of ripstop, but haven’t had any issues and bush whacked for 2 miles with it up in Wyoming and tons of camp work.
@@gideonstactical thank you.
How do they handle sweat
Breathable 👍
What chair is that? I searched your videos and didn't find it.
amzn.to/3MGIG0S not sure if this is the one you mean
5.11 icon pants are all i wear. They're a little pricey, but the pocket layout is perfection for me.
Nice it’s good to have the perfect set up
Rat 1 & 2 all day
Do you go to a Dominican barber? Who's lining up your beard?

Indeed. Comfortable knife.

Ya as I said in the video athletic cut and the pockets don’t have width.
