I realised that when I started timing my day around the horses, as when I'd placed a bet I'd want to watch the race, or I'd be on mobile phone walking to the shops or even driving. And my worst bets came when I missed a winner because I'd be kicking myself for not betting on it.. so I'd place a bet to try and claw back my missed winnings .. which would inveitably lose... And then I'm chasing my losses ... Your head goes completely and before you know it you're £200 down

Gambling strips you of everything. Horrible addiction. Even worse then heroin.
Alcohol is the same if you abuse it.
