Replacing the boat to the proper position is a skill that gives you the ability to correct your maneuvers and also back the boat with more speed, in case you need it.

You optimized the position of your boat and your anchor is still on the seabed but on the wrong position?
You do not expect crossing anchor-chains with the following vessels? 🤔

You are correct. For that specific position I had the anchor a bit off center but because of the very limited area 1) all the boats drop off center to achieve more chain in the water, hence better scop and 2) I stayed only 30 minutes so I didn't care a lot about the alignment.
The same technique though is used for Repositioning the boat to achieve the proper position

Other yachts coming in will see the lie of his anchor line and can drop parallel to it. If it's angled a bit toward the entrance all good, that's the direction of weather which would/could cause a problem.
