Since u have a big fish room why don't u add on as fish room by the garden. Make this place like garden by the bay in Singapore and u can relax watching the tank with side coffee table. The wall u can just buy a printed garde shower curtain like what I did in my bathroom garden shower room. Since u have mini pond with plant outside your house bring it inside the fish room and dont forget to ad on track light to enhance the view

Yes, I would have too and I measured a lot. But it just wouldn’t work out the way I’d like because the tanks are not all the same height. If the 1ft cube tanks were the same height as the 2ft tanks, I’d definitely have made them the same height. If I put the 1ft cubes too low, it would make water changes/scaping/viewing difficult and not fun. If I raise the 2ft tanks higher, it would make it difficult to get my hands in. I understand what you’re saying but I had no choice

Honest question. Tanks are heavy when fully equipped. How do you know much weight a rack can hold? I was thinking of making one for my 450L but calculating it could be 6-700KG I was afraid. So bought an original Juwel😂
Great video! I love the new racks! Ryo, is the price of wood insane over there like it is over here in the United States? Like all the lumber went up like 8 times of what it use to cost if not more. Like I need to make some racks right now but I would not dare go buy wood right now because it is ridiculously expensive now. A sheet of regular plywood that use to cost like $16 or less is like $45 now. It is crazy.

Yup, I'm in Japan. I haven't experienced any strong earthquakes yet. Regular small earthquakes aren't an issue. The water may sway a bit but theres really nothing to worry about. If a super strong earthquake hits, the building would collapse before the aquarium does

The dado joints were a nice touch to the new racks! Definitely satisfying to watch all of those smaller wood pieces being removed to create the joints
