This project is awesome!!! This is the first video that I have seen of an MP3 player that uses Arduino and demonstrates how to start an MP3 file from saved position :) Also using tasks and queues in the code is a very nice touch in my opinion. BTW, I might borrow your idea on AUX plug detection to a project that I am currently working on ;)
Thank you, a Pi Zero would be a great fit, too. My only concern would be boot time for a linux system. You can‘t really beat a microcontroller at that.
@@Max-Kern Completely agree on that front. Microcontrollers are great for this type of application. Using something like buildroot or dietpi could let you create a really lean Pi OS with only the needed elements that boots much quicker than a full OS.
