I didn't know much about aphids before this but they're so cool! The anti predation measures they have evolved blew my mind - here's one: "Some species interact with plant tissues forming a gall, an abnormal swelling of plant tissue. Aphids can live inside the gall, which provides protection from predators and the elements. A number of galling aphid species are known to produce specialised "soldier" forms, sterile nymphs with defensive features which defend the gall from invasion." (Source: Wikipedia). Many times I've waged war against my nemesis, aphids, using forceful water followed by a Q-tip soaked in rubbing alcohol. Damn it, thanks to you, I almost think they're cute. Still, no mercy. Bwahha.
At least they're easier to spot and eradicate than my arch nemesis, spider mites.

Don’t they have a symbiosis with a type of ant species? The ants eat what comes out their rear end, and protect the Aphids from other insects.
Yup, they also have a symbiotic relationship with bacteria in their body that helps make protein for the aphids.

What's odd for me is that I'm playing a Survival game right now called Grounded that has aphids in it. You play some kids who get shrunk down in their back yard Honey I Shrunk the Kids style, you must survive and figure out a way to get back to your original size. Aphids are one of the many insects you encounter, mostly just a food source but you can make one your pet as well. I wouldn't play it if you are scared of spiders though O_O

Ladybugs/Ladybirds can also kill off aphids as they all love eating them. If you got plenty of ladybugs, then bait them to the infested plants, and watch them save your garden before your very eyes.

I lost some nice indoor plants to these little demons. Tried lady bugs soap based insecticide. Always came back.

While aphids are parasites, they are a great indicator of plant's health, as healthy plants that have proper regulation/nutrient supply are very rarely infested with aphids.

The washing off with hose water or soap water should be done on regular basis because they come back pretty fast. Strong plants are not susceptible to aphids

I tried but I couldn't find any.
Ladybugs and ants do hunt them, but only if they’re real close to eachother. If you build a base by the Ice Mint Container near spawn, you can watch all three occasionally interact with eachother. Be warned though, both Orb Weavers and Wolf Spiders enjoy passing through that area.
PS: Ants appear to prefer Weevils over Aphids, might be because they’re easier to catch.😅
