instead of shield throw thunderclap gives you damage resistance as well so you can not only charge your melee completely safely with this build, been really enjoying that but you don't even need drengrs lash if you want you can just use the transcendent grenade and focus on filling that bar as fast as possible, unbreakable also works really really well with this for overshield
I can not wait to try this out! I wanted to ask, I always ran one surge mod because I thought adding a second would eat the armor stacks faster. So it actually makes the timer longer? 😮
The timer is the same, you just get more damage. Time Dilation on the class item makes the Armor Charge timer go from 10 to 15 seconds, that's what makes it longer 👍
@@itsdavetvYT THANk YOU! Ive always pushed for 2-3 time dialations to get my one ☝️ per build surge mod thinking that if I added a second, the game would lower the amount of time. But if its the same, then its like Ive been playing with training weights lol
This is a fun build, but sometimes, it feels like it’s lacking in enough survivability. Maybe Red Death or a weapon with Heal Clip would help. Just saying.
i like this and the prismatic hunter tether. i havent ran solar hunter in forever and ive been running it non stop with nighthawk, GG and still hunt. im liking this build cause it seems like itll have high survivability in GM's.
On the topic of damage resistance, I've been using a full stasis build that gives me 83.2% DR. The basics are T10 resilience for the 30% + Frost Armor x8 for 36% and then Glacial Guard from Icefall Mantle which gives 62.5% and a 100 HP over shield. It's my cup of coffee.
Dead Messenger would be a cool fit. Gives a shield, has all light elements, can be used with the fragment which creates elemental pickups on individual timers.
I use wave frame arc ergo sum with arc conductor. you get the arc shield for even more damage reduction and can break crystals for big damage all while having unlimited ammo with the catalyst. So you get more DR, no reload, movement, and unlimited ammo with artifact mods and cataylst. I call it crystal titan. I'm also running this with exotic class item with hoarfrost and scars. so you also heal while having arc shieild as it chains off enemies and heals you.
The exotic ornament is horrible. I bought it w/out looking at the whole thing😂. Up past the knees, which was hidden, is droop not drip. Trying this today, thx🎉
Question: Arm mods...Firepower and Momentum transfer - grenade final blows create Orbs, and damage with grenades reduce melee cooldown. Do Shackle grenades even do any damage? Can a shackle grenade even get a final blow? or is this mod just wasted when using Shackle grenades? Also same for shield throw...how often does that get a final blow? I see it bounce off of 3 enemies all the time and not kill them, but it does break shields and do some damage...but final blows....
Technically it can get a final blow, but in higher content it would mainly be used for Suspend. Wouldn't recommend Firepower, but Momentum Transfer is on hits so it's super viable
@@itsdavetvYT Yes I think I will lean more toward the mods that activate on "damage" instead of final blows for this melee/grenade setup. I'm gonna play with this build a bit.
@@riothegod5750 Ok lil bro. You think the healing and damage is better on prismatic than strand? You mustn’t t be playing the same game. You know banner has healing and extra damage.
@TBONES lil bro I'm doing master lost sectors -30 wit ease, excision gm with ease, everything in thr game is cake wit my prism titan build . As long as u have buried bloodline, the healing is fine combined wit woven mail and the damage wit 3x consecration and knockout is more than anything strand csn offer. Can prism titan use a healing aspect yes, but saying strand titan has more damage is hilarious
We all know Banner of War is good, plus you’re better off running Synthos in that case anyway. The point of the Build is taking advantage of Prismatic…
Really not a fan of frost armor, its just to weak 10 sec and you lose all stacks if time is up. I am not 100% sure but seems Knockout or some fragments buff Twilight Arsenal dmg, its doing way more than when I had consecration. Solar weapons with Incandescent/heal clip work really well, same goes for a crafted Osteo Striga.
For a suspend + woven mail heavy build, you should consider spirit of abeyant and spirit of armamentarium instead. You can then swap knockout for consecration and shield throw for frenzied blade. Swap super to bladefury. By doing this, you get the following: 1. Three instances of suspend via spirit of the abeyant, and two shackle grenades with spirit of armamentarium. 2. Three instances of sever via frenzied blade (40% attack debuff) for single target damage or 3 consecration slams for AOE add clear on suspended targets 3. By swapping to bladefury super, any orb pickups give woven mail and both frenzied blade and shackle grenade CDs will be reset after super pop. 4. Khvostov for easy orb pickups to maintain woven mail and good overall damage. 5. Optional. You can also swap consecration and keep knockout for amplification for more survivability. However, this isn't needed if played correctly. You also lose damage as well. The changes above barely sacrifice survivability for a ton more damage. And in D2's long standing meta, "the best defense is a strong offense". You get much stronger AOE add clear with suspend + consecration and single target burst with suspend + frenzied blade (which severs) + one-two punch shotgun (as you know, you actually want to get close as the facet of protection activates when surrounded). All in all, your build is more "fun" than optimal. It's certainly fun to get void overshields, woven mail, amplification, and frost armor, but you're sacrificing A TON of damage. The faster you take out the threat, the better. You won't need all that DR if the threats are dead. Your version would take much longer to do so, resulting in ALOT more damage taken. Your build is actually a catch-22. You're stacking DR to survive b/c of lower DPS. Thus, I need to stack DR.
Such a long post to just be one of those, um actually douches and be pointless. That's just a regular Strand/Blade Consecration build. Do you really think he hasn't seen that? The worst part is you even acknowledge it yourself, damage is not the point of the video, just stacking damage resistances.
Seems like your main concern is weapons because from what you described for abilities in higher content even with DR buffs you’re gonna be dead without the support of a healing warlock or something equivalent. BUT LIKE I SAID, switch out what you want. Plenty of options to choose, but note you won’t get Woven Mail with Spirit of Abeyant, only the improvement to the suspend lashes.
@@itsdavetvYT Surely that's not what you took away from my comment. Your build focused on using abilities for DR. My suggestions turned your abilities into more offensive power, without sacrificing much DR at all.
@@whosurjustin Seems like you ignored when I said switch out what you want since literally anything works. Wasn't heavily criticizing your setup, just pointing out your concerns in the previous comment.
@@itsdavetvYT No, I read/heard that. But the whole point of watching your video is to see if other people have interesting setups/builds. If anything works, why create a specific build and talk about it for almost 14 minutes.
NOTE: There is a way to do this on Hunter, but requires a very specific setup. If you want help with D2 Activities head on over to Twitch 😎
Spirit of renewal and cyrtarachne ;)
Exactly, been trying to get that roll for that specific video 🤘
@ItsDaveTVGaming it's as cracked as it sounds got it earlier this week, it's my fav roll so far, hunter hits so hard liars isn't even necessary
Of course there is, LMAO. But titans aren't cooked, right?

Could you please write the gameplay loop for this build?
Suspend, Shield Throw, Collect Orbs, Weapon Kills, Transcendence, Super, Repeat

Turnabout is such a good perk since it can also proc from breaking the hive moth and darkness shield generator shields 🤝

Can I use the void sword chIvalric fire?
Yup, like I said any weapons will work! Just make sure your armor mods match up with the weapon element type 👍
Ok
