Harley radar detector valentine one full color defense display

Full color display for Valentine one Gen 1 or Gen 2.
This is the Premium thin unit with optional full color bands and full color signal bar.
Only downside I can see for this application is that the wire is pre installed into the actual unit and is not removable. So for me I had to disassemble the whole fairing again to plug into the junction box vs just having to unplug the old unit and install the new one. For this application I should have prob opted for the non-premium thin unit which looks like it is plug and play with removable connector.
Either way it is a great high quality product.

That's a very clean install and use of hidden display unit. Well done! Id like to do this to my own street glide. It is a useful tip about mounting the detector vertically- thanks for sharing your install!

How effective is it to mount behind the fairing? I thought it had to have a clear line of sight
