- While Aegis players as a whole have improved a lot, there are still awful habits lurking around in the shadows. And some of them are really bad :D

I feel like the “Mashing out of hit stun/Aggressive landings” is a bad habit for almost or any character. Not just Aegis.
It is, it just sucks more for Aegis because their recovery is garbage
Thank you for another Aegis guide video. I’m glad how you’re one of the most consistent Aegis fans as well as being a Xenoblade fan. You’re so cool!
As someone who likes playing aegis in Smash and loves the entire (mainline) Xenoblade Chronicles series to death, in I approve of this comment.
Thank you I appreciate it
When I saw this thumbnail the first thing my mind went to was someone making a plot analysis of Xenoblade 2 and how Pyra/Mythra affected the story with their character flaws lmao
Unfortunately no, maybe some other time lol
Yeah, I uh... need to work on a few of these things for sure
I appreciate your concern for us aegis mains and this comes from a aegis main thank u baselard I Will keep on trying as a aegis main to keep improving 😊
The Aegis master is back!
Another big thing I see from Aegis players is not going for Tomohawks despite how broken they are with them
You made this video for Aegis players but I legit could apply so much of this advice for my fellow Kirby mains lol. Like a lot of Kirbies mash too much and don’t know how to make their actions ambiguous. Like if guy watch top Kirbies play, you’ll notice throw moves out for the purpose bait and punish and not just mash.
A lot of these bad habits are things many other characters should really be aware.
Every day we get closer to optimal Aegis gameplay, surely. These tips were very helpful in finding what to improve on!
I think Myhtra is more of a hit and run than a rushdown, because as you said if she dash attacks or jumps and nairs you can just shield it or move away and get punished easily. Basically you should play neutral moving around like a degenerate, baiting attacks, and sometimes approaching yourself. The opponent gets out of disadvantage? Get away and restart neutral. Is that easy.
Do you do 1 on 1 teachings. Kinda like metafy? Been an aegis player for quite some time and it's proving to be really hard.
No, not yet at any rate. Haven't found good method or format that works
@@BaselardFE that's valid. Do you have a discord?
@@eldrazidragon5347 I do, but currently it's curated so only members or people I know can join. Opening it up for lessons could be a good idea
Bro can you send a video how to improve defensive options I have encountered very tough opponents who punish very well
They punish me a lot of airdoghe
I need to improve my defensive options without depending all time on foresight
When im pyra te oponent punish me a lot the airdoghe and that's kill me in early percent in off stage
In my opinion it's easier to find good Pyra players than non mashers Mythra or special moves mashers Aegis.
I commented On a recent video but I'm just making sure about something. I used to be on ur streams quite a while ago and the rest of ur chat also knew me I'm just wondering if u will remember
Don't take it personally, but I unfortunately don't remember.
@@BaselardFE It's ok but I'm just coming back to smash and I was wanting to come back to your channel
Naw, people lose now bc they're normal people who don't have the time/money to take metafy lessons
We gotta scrounge around for live-streamed metafy lessons
You don't need metafy lessons to get rid of bad habits though
@BaselardFE you've got a good point, but holy shite dude. It's feels like smash isn't a fighting game anymore. Bc to win you just have to wait for someone to overextend and punish and rinse and repeat.
Yeah I feel ya.
@BaselardFE btw you're always so nice, and I appreciate that!
