The "JJ Run" Michigan just went on the last three years was unbelievable; never thought I'd see anything approach '97, yet we had three years, culminating in a national championship, that were very much like '97. Maybe we'll some day get another three year stretch where we go 40-3 and 27-1 under one starter the way we did with JJ; I'm not holding my breath but you never know. Also, I hope Underwood and Brady Hart use JJ as a resource; both kids are uber-talented but they'll also need to be leaders.

Basically, except for when he's playing the Lions, I wish nothing but the absolute best for JJ. The kid was just as important to U-M winning the Natty as much as anyone, and his value was definitely missed this past season. Heal up soon, #9!
I think most of the Michigan fans that really know ball and are realistic knew this season would be tough losing all we lost but I didn't even think it would look this bad. Losing sucks but I know I'm still in awe about winning the whole thing last year that it makes this year not so hard. And knowing the future is bright, I can't be upset. With that GO BLUE!!! 💙💛〽️〽️
